It does come across as sort of stalkerish, huh? Problem is, now there isn't anyone to stalk, just a memory. I was wondering if it was sort of creepy for me to be so upset about someone I really know little about. I've not batted an eye about other porn deaths, except maybe Anna Malle (only because my roommate actually WORKED with her here in Vegas, at a damn telephone customer service company! What was up with that?). I suppose I value her more in my mind because in EVERY SINGLE interview, either in print or video, I've seen her in, she is unmatched in this industry for being genuinely sweet and NICE, with nary a bad thing to say about anybody. How many people are like that in general? Especially in porn? Damn few. Like I've said before, she's someone I would really have liked to have gotten to know, and that's independent of any salacious thoughts I might have had about her. But damn was she fine, too. And nasty. And I am just insanely curious and impatient to know just what exactly happened to her. I actually kinda hope it was OD. At least then in a warped sort of way it was kinda on her own terms, and not due to some monster prick screwing things up for her (and for her friends, family, and fans).

Yeah I don't think it is stalkerish. Its a sad, sad story and it only fuels our interest that their is no facts about it whats so ever, so we don't know shit, and our sad, once some info comes out...it will be easier to understand
she deserves peace and rest not main stream coverage for your entertainment, she spent her life being exploited and seeing you salivate at writing a mainstream story on her makes me sick it's natural for speculation and discussion, but to mourn the lack of a 20/20 is reprehensible

You made a specific allegation that an individual engaged in criminal conduct. Unless you have some actual knowledge that this conduct occurred ("I read it on the internets" doesn't count), your statement was, at minimum, irresponsible, and potentially libelous as well.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I follow the porn goings-on pretty casually, certainly compared to the board's more active members, and I will see an arrest thread or a death thread and give it the usual moment or two of either sadness or anger that I would give to most things of that nature but when I read about her death it hit me. She really did seem to be kind & sweet and when you combine that with her performances on camera it totalled up to the kind of girl I think a lot of us would like to meet & get to know. Not just because of her sexuality but also for her spirit and her outlook. I am truly saddened by her passing.

Holw Shit!!! Did nobody read the link. Chico Wang is dead, and was being investigated for the murder of Hailey Paige. Wow, this is a crazy and sad story, could be a indie film or a documentary, or atleast an article that explains what happened. wonder why nobody else reported Chico's death? "Implicated" is a pretty vague term. We all know that Chico was questioned in regard to Haley's death. That questioning alone implicates him. He was let go by the police. I don't know if Chico had anything to do with Haley's death or not. But the statements of this police sergeant don't tell us anything more than was already reported.
Of course the only people who know for sure if Chico killed Haley is Chico, Haley, and maybe those working on the investigation. The circumstantial evidence is pretty damning, to me. Either way, the only person I want to R.I.P. is Haley. At minimum, Chico is a wife-beater. That's enough for me. How in the world did he convince her to marry him? Damn. Might not have been her decision. I'm sure more details will out eventually.

To Fox Magazine: What do u know about the time line? Meaning did he flee because he thought charges were coming? But instead he decided to kill herself? What was the order of events? Most importantly, do u have any specifics, thanks for your work.
Thanks, Ragingbull. I've been trying to release facts when I have proper confirmation of them. I don't want to speculate irresponsibly. There are several theories as to what Chico was doing after Haley's death. At this point I think the police will provide the final, definitive answer, particularly after toxicology reports are released. Charlie
Me, I'm good at speculating irresponsibly, but am also cognizant enough to emphasize that I'm only SPECULATING, and I can easily be wrong. I've read some people holding the police partly responsible if indeed it turns out Chico murdered Page (which I believe). Remember that he was out on 1 million dollars bail and that the charges were dropped. Not much they could have done. Perhaps the bail should have been 1 billion.
Oh yes, I too, give thanks to you for performing this fact finding mission. I do appreciate it, sir.

Chico IS DEAD! Taryn just confirmed it in her blog after speaking to Chico's Minion on the phone. Minion called her n told her Chico was found dead in a Motel room two nights ago. I don't understand that. I had a close friend die form taking to many oxycotins. The topology report came out almost immediately. I mean it makes no since. People are usually with a week or two.

I'm sure that many many porn stars love their work; however, I think that there are many more who only do it because of the money that they are able to earn, compared with low paying jobs that they would otherwise have. Gia paloma worked in Starbucks. In an interview, a few years ago, she claimed that as a porn star, she earned more than $250,000 per year. BTW, she did have another skill, as a makeup artist, that she sometimes used in the porn industry when she was not being a performer for a particular shoot. Aurora Snow studied theater arts (acting) and wanted to be an actress. Here is a quote from part of a mini-biography about her. "When she couldn't jump-start her acting or modeling career, her agent suggested she get into porn. At first it was frightening for young Aurora. Homeless and desperate, she finally agreed to do a nude modeling shoot for "Hustler" after a long telephone conversation and consolation with porn queen Jenna Jameson. " She was told that she could earn more by performing sex on camera instead of just modeling. Eventually, that led to her gonzo porn -- triple penetrations, gaging/chocking type throat scenes, etc. Not exactly, what she studied for in theater arts nor what she wanted do to. Whether or not she eventually came to like her porn work, I don't know and can't say. With respect to Haley Page.... it is a terrible tragedy for a 26 year old person die. The cause of death is not known yet, and won't be for a few weeks until toxicology tests are concluded. Whether she died of natural causes or an overdose of drugs (as was suggested), it really does not matter. Her life is tragically ended and that is horrible. If she turned to drugs because of, and as a mental escape from, her porn career and overdosed, then the industry and customers of that industry, indirectly killed her. I say customers, not people who d/l porn files for free...they do not financially support the industry and thus the stars, etc. in the industry. There would be no such industry if not for paying customers. Now I know, that in every occupation there are deaths as a result of the job: construction workers fall of buildings, even white-collar professionals get heart-attacks brought on by stress, etc. When that happens, we mourn their loss; yet, when a porn star dies, it seems okay for some people to make jokes about it.
As Fox says, sometimes the medical office's budget is running behind, the case seems straightforward with all other evidence pointing one way, and you only do enough tests to confirm the assumptions. But in other cases the cause either isn't obvious, or there may be other suspicions, but perhaps it's as simple as no drugs were actually found there and testing is needed to find out which one(s) if any. There's no rush - she's already dead - so this likely is the lowest priority at the testing lab. FYI - Haley can't drop charges. Only the prosecutor can do that. She can be uncooperative, but prosecutors are used to pursuing such cases even with a hostile witness. Moreover there was one item in the arrest report about a firearm, and the prosecutor wouldn't need Haley's cooperation on that one. Anyway, I don't remember charges ever being filed, only an arrest made.
Thanks for the clarification, JRV. I'm no lawyer. I was under the impression that the case was abandoned, for whatever reason. Maybe a retraction of the initial complaint on Haley's part?

This is sad news to return to. Haley appeared to be a nice person in real life and from reading what those who knew her in person have written it appears to be true. I hope that she is in a better place as it doesn't sound like she had the best time here. R.I.P.
