Do most organizations not feel the need to recognize those who retired/left the industry under not so great circumstances? I can see how there might be friction if for example a retired performer goes down the religious path and badmouths the industry publicly. Not like the person would show up to any induction ceremony or be thankful for the support from an audience not want to associate with; even if objectively had a hall of fame worthy career. Early death can also be unpredictable and sudden. If somewhat recent would it be in poor taste if the person's family and friends are still in mourning?
In the future when the top stars may not stick around for at least 10 years what happens then? Lower the years required so the most successful/popular can still be eligible or accept the fact there may be fewer Hall of Famers in the future? I don't see a likely scenario where certain individuals get inducted for shunning studios completely or only do a few scenes every year to remain "active" and do it primarily to attract new fans to their own platform(s) Edited by - Big_Tits_Addict on Feb 24 2022 [Link] |
