Some years ago, I got the DVD, and was disappointed. To be fair, the transfer was pretty bad. It may have been much better on film (and- given the nature of the fantasy being enacted- viewed in a theater with an audience).

I have a lot of fond memories from the Golden Age, and porn fans whose first experience with porn involved VHS, DVD, or the internet can't appreciate how good some of these films were. A lot of the transfers are terrible, and films that were intended to be seen on the big screen don't always work well on the small screen.

Moreover, there was an energy- a witch's brew that included sleazy porn theaters, the sexual revolution, women's liberation, and gay rights.

The 80s brought us more than VHS tapes, it was also the start of the AIDS epidemic, which- coupled with the Reagan revolution other shifts in society- killed this energy.

And let's not forget... Bush- in particular, Annette Haven's bush.
