First off, Fashionistas may also be a book, but it IS a film by John Stagliano (Buttman) for Evil Angel. It won almost a record number of AVN awards when it came out.

Handcuffed 'during' sex you might find in European movies but you won't in US versions. Bondage, yes, sex, yes, but not together. It's the fine line of 'consensual' sex where if they are bound and having sex it is not considered consensual.

Even Skeeter in one of his movies had bound up Ashley Blue for the opening of his scene, but as soon as the guy came onto the screen the chains were removed before any sex took place. You might find some on websites, but not in the movies that are released for US distribution.

The Fashionistas does not specifically contain sex between two people with bondage though. There is a scene where Belladonna deep throats a dildo while she is completely tied up, but the producers stopped at that point, feeling that continuing into actual sex with bondage was too much of a risk in the US.

For sex with bondage in US porn movies, you have to go way back to the old stuff. Jailhouse Girls with Ginger Lynn is one, but by and large such movies are impossble to find because of the the unwritten rule in the US that bondage mixed with sex will be considered obscene by the courts, and therefore illegal.

As you hinted at, you'll probably have better luck outside the US, but I don't know of any titles.

I have seen a few movies where the sex scenes have given the illusion of being non-consensual. So are the authorities concerned that veiwers of films portraying girls haveing sex whilst handcuffed may later try to emulate what they have been watching. This really could lead to rape, which in real life is totally unacceptable under any circumstances.

I understand that "Hot Hotel Wife" contains a scene showing sex whilst handcuffed but I have never seen the movie. But I know of no others.

Finally, sex and bondage appears to be a boundary in the world of pornography, whould others agree?

Of course, it is all completely ridiculous, as millions of adult Americans engage in various forms of bondage games in their personal lives. If the significant element here is the demonstration of consentaneous nature in the encounter, then the binding of one partner of the other should have no relation to "obscenity" at all, as long as willingness to participate by all parties is clearly shown. (In fact, a skilled defense attorney could prove that the "acting out" of a nonconsensual encounter--including rape--in a fictional porn film is also defended by the First Amendment, as long as it is contextualized as a fictional scene in a coherent narrative, the definition of which could be very broad. Just remember, however, that the color of free speech--and for that matter justice--in America is a very particular shade of green.) But in the mental wasteland that is the mind of the average district attorney (along with his local rabble of advocates planning to vote him or her into some political office at the next election), handcuffs or rope means force and rape. And such is the muck of the current legal landscape in US obscenity laws.

Having written that, I should also say that Jules Jordan, to name just one high profile example in the industry, has been raising the bar on this area ever so slightly for a while now. the Teagan scene in WOAD3 is just one of several examples: see also FF3 with Jayna Oso bound during a portion of the oral, and the first scene from FH6, to cite just two.
