IMO, nothing beats a natural woman with kickass curves.

So, the kind of woman who wants that is fighting nature in the first place. Women naturally have more fat than men because, well, they're supposed to. It's part of what makes a woman a woman. But anyway....if she wants a bodybuilder body, she might as well get the boobs to match because guys who like natural, soft, feminine women aren't going to be watching anyway.

I'd rather look at natural A cups than fake C cups virtually any day of the week. And for that matter, I prefer a woman with curves, even bordering on the zaftig (Kaci Starr - yummy!), than a hardbody WWF wrestler type (disgusting build on a woman OR a man, IMHO)

As to why anyone goes to extremes with body alterations - bodybuilding, "enhancements", piercings, tattoos, etc. - I've never been able to understand it. I don't so much mind tattoos. Piercings are okay if they're not over the top (not crazy about nipple piercings, but clit and tongue piercings are fine). Enhancements though are usually a bad thing. But a bad boob job on a female bodybuilder looks absolutely ludicrous to me.

I always thought the obvious fake boobs seen in porn had to be just unfortunate mistakes. I never dreamed women would be actively encouraged by anyone to do that to themselves. Nor did I ever think anyone would actually want fake boobs to be obvious. Especially considering the fact that most girls who have this done have perfectly acceptable, and in many cases, practically perfect natural tits already. Why would anybody want to destroy erotic perfection with a cartoon?

So...just trying to understand. What is sexy about artificiality? It's always been my opinion that this has always been the very embodiment of everything that's wrong with so much porn. This takes me back to the very day I became old enough to buy my own porn. I was so excited. I was so happy. I went to the only store in the area that sold porn. I had plenty of money. It was a large store, with all sorts of sex stuff. I was like a kid in a candy store. And I suddenly noticed that virtually all of the women had these obnoxiously out of proportion boobs. My heart sank. But I kept looking, thinking I just must be looking at the wrong movies. I did eventually find movies with natural tits but it sure wasn't easy and it still isn't. Sometimes, out of 5 women in a movie, only one or two will have natural tits.

Now I'm not even really that much of a boob man. I don't have a thing for incredibly busty women...or small-breasted women, either, for that matter. But I can appreciate a nice set of perfectly-formed natural tits. Fake ones don't even come close, really, to the way real ones move. It can be so hypnotic just to watch. Even the texture of the skin is often different. I'm usually not paying so much attention to the boobs anyway. I'm more of a leg and an ass fan. But when they're so obviously fake, it's kinda hard not to notice and once I do, everything else just fades into oblivion and these things just stand out like headlights in the darkness. It's all I can see and I can't pull my eyes away from them and I can't stop thinking "Why? Why? Oh why?". It just ruins the entire thing.

But, going back to the OP's question, these women get bolt-ons for the same reason a lot of female bodybuilders do. They have a high amount of muscle mass combined with a low bodyfat % and without implants whatever chest they do have would look minuscule.

Secondly, some people just don't like implants in general no matter how good or bad they look. Some people at least admit it and some others can't. So many people complain about Tera Patrick's implants for example but realistically her boob job is great. They still look soft, they hang nicely, no obvious scars, no ripples, etc., they're basically are bigger versions of she had before but just the fact that she got them rubs some people the wrong way. They say she "ruined" her body or whatever but her body is far from "ruined". It's still a great body but now with bigger breasts.

Yeah, some people prefer the "natural" look but that doesn't always mean the "natural" look is always the best look. Sometimes a balanced body simply looks better. Big on the bottom and small on the top may be fine for some but I'd rather see and hourglass figure with curves from top to bottom.

Sometimes, a pornstar will get their breasts made bigger to help them stand out in the industry. I can name a lot of performers that would get lost in the crowd and would probably go unnoticed if they didn't have big boob jobs. Now they have a name in the big boob ninche of the biz. They're popular and don't have to do any over the top extreme stuff trying to get noticed. If you notice lots of the big boob queens hardly ever do the extreme porn stuff.

Some women (Mia Rose comes to mind) do just a little bit of cosmetic surgery and then are done with it (and in her case, wowza, what a cutey). They typically appear to have a much healthier sense of self-esteem and learn to equate their success to their ability to manage their branded image and not so much on how big their breasts are. Others go to the opposite spectrum.

There are quite a few women in porn who have NOT had any appreciable cosmetic surgery that I can determine. Natural beauty needs no improvement in many cases. Artificial beauty, OTOH, needs constant maintenance.

This isn't just a porn issue in my opinion. Anyone who travels to South America and mixes with the upper class will see rampant plastic surgery. Hollywood likely sees as much (if not more) plastic surgery, but it's not quite as obvious as they aren't naked and getting fucked on screen quite as often.
