There is speculation that Massacre Video is working on a forthcoming release of Hardgore. The speculation is based on them changing their Facebook cover photo to a scene from the film and putting two still up on Twitter. They haven't stated a word about the release yet though.

I don't think it was cut, I think it was a case of an incomplete print. The Alpha Blue Archives release appears to be missing the original opening.

Massacre Video has confirmed that they are releasing Michel Hugo's hardcore horror Hardgore on Blu-ray. They have also confirmed it is coming from a complete 35mm print.

I'd more classify Waterpower as an exploitation thriller than horror, but I could see the argument being made for it being horror.

I wasn't much impressed with the plot of Hardgore, which you can read in my review of the Alpha Blue Archives release, which I believe to be mostly complete, just missing the opening. It would be nice if it turns out it was missing a lot that ultimately makes the film make sense.

A good horror porn to start with is Roberta Findlay's A Woman's Torment.
