I was pretty impressed by it all on the whole. My only complaint about the staging is that it was a little too big for the room.
John has these aerialists working on silks that are just fucking amazing, but the room isn't big enough to get both of them in your field of vision at once, so you're forced to move your focus point around, potentially missing something behind you so you can see what's going in front of you.
A friend of mine came who hadn't seen the movie and he was a little confused at times in terms of who was who and the machinations going on between them. He didn't feel the dance did enough to deliniate who was who, but he felt the show was amazingly well produced.
As a backstage theatre guy, I was more in love with the technical aspects of the show -- its nice to have the big expensive varilights, and they're used to great effect.
The costuming was really something also. There are more fast changes in this show that I could count and they are all executed flawlessly. And these aren't "take off a blue shirt, but on a brown shirt" kind of changes; these are full-scale outfits.
They do a bit with a swatch of cloth and various wraps around a model which is a super nice bit of choreography.
Tricia was a gracious host when we were there, the servers were attentive without being intrusive and I would recommend the show.
A bunch of us went the night before the AEE convention this past January. Adult Movie FAQ and I were part of that group. Tricia arranged for us all to be seated together (which worked out nicely because many of us hadn't met one another yet).
That week, Tricia was in Vegas because of the convention. However, she does spend many weekends in Las Vegas with John.
One suggestion that I would have, to address Adult Movie FAQ's comment regarding the ability to see the aerialists would be to consider the VIP seating. There are theater style seats up near the stage, but some of the aerial stuff takes place behind those seats. The VIP seating is a little farther back and gives a better view of the action.
When we went, the VIP seats were $10 more than the regular seats. Now it appears that the VIP seating runs from $22-33 more than regular seating. IMO, the regular VIP seating is fine.
I'll click that link. Thank you. It made me feel so weird to see that butt. It was the closest to my butt I have seen besides my mirror. Dyeing to see what she looks like, but its probably only her butt in rest of pic....
Yes, I liked the show. Its a touchy thing for me to say exactly how I feel bc Evil Angel is my favorite company and the beautiful Tricia post here ... so I dont want to go detailed on it, but I can say it was hot. I went about three weeks ago.

I'm really happy to hear that you guys saw the show and that overall you liked it.
Feel free to post critiques, as the show is always evolving.
The show is taking a break from July 17 - 28 so the dancers can take a vacation for a week, and then start back into rehearsals and shows with a new cast member to replace one of the guys who is leaving the show.

dandaman - there will be a rotation for the first month between 2 or 3 different people playing the Antonio part. The night you were there, was it a guy with relatively short hair or the guy with the longer curly hair? These two will rotate the part, along with one other guy - the new guy.
Actually, we're losing 2 guys, but we're only replacing one. The cast is SO big anyway (20 people) that it's still more than fine this way.
