I was expecting something pretty different, and it all ties in to Evan Stone's character. Based upon the pic on the front of the box and what little I knew of the plot, I had a notion that Stone was going to be a Brad Pitt from Thelma and Louise type just without the whole stealing the money thing. Instead, he is like a caricature of every abusive Midwestern husband you've seen on Cops and we in turn get a movie full of violence, orgies, and the requisite sex club (at least it wasn't a sex institute where repressed women or men learn to be better lovers). Of course, I read the plot description on the back of the box now and see that if I'd read that before watching I would have known exactly what to expect. I did enjoy Sunny Lane's performance, impressive considering that for the majority of the film she has to look convincingly dazed and confused, and wonder what she'll be capable of in the future once she's had more experience acting. Veronica Hart's role was enjoyable. Also, you can definitely see the visual difference between this one and Darkside , which was shot on Super 16.

As for the sex, is it just me or does it seem like RLD is hyper-sensitive to what their fans might think of these features so they are just totally overdoing the sex in these films? In Sex Pix , four of the five scenes contain multiple partners and there is even one orgy. There is cum-swapping at the end of those same four scenes, and anals and DP. I don't know. It didn't work for me at all. I liked Sunny's scene with Lockwood at the end, as at 20 minutes long it worked in the context of the storyline beautifully and the two performers' chemistry was perfect. Otherwise, I didn't really like the other scenes.

I think that the Red Light District Films division could produce some great stuff once the producers stop over-emphasizing the "Red Light District" if you know what I mean. But it's still a work in progress. Put Sunny Lane in another one and I'll definitely watch it, though from my understanding Brianna Love will be the star of the next one.

I'm afraid the film had too many group scenes for my taste - in fact only one scene was a good old-fashioned one on one. I prefer to focus on one girl in a sex scene. Plus, when you have Hillary Scott in a scene (and a DP scene at that!) it is outrageous to throw half a dozen girls into the mix and push her to the periphery - in fact, it is nothing less than a crime against porn. Someone must be held responsible and punished for this offence. Hillary Scott also needs to be thoroughly spanked for accepting such a role and thereby becoming an accomplice in this fiendish act of criminality. What a bloody outrageous girl (I'll forgive her this one time).

I also found the constant hacking by the girls during deep throat a turn-off. I am also not big on manufactured cum-swapping - especially when it is clear that most of the cumshot ended up in the girl's eye and the gob of 'cum' she passes on to a nearby girl is clearly composed of 99% saliva. The extended S&M party also looked like the same one out of "The New Devil in Miss Jones" (only two days later and without a change of underwear).

On the positive side, I loved the shower spanking scene with Manuel Ferrara. How did they film that without Manuel's willy getting all wrinkly? At times it looked like an elaborate Chinese water torture - well done Manuel, Alektra Blue and Tyla Wynn (hope yoou are all over the pneumonia).
