Hey guys!

So first, let's not hide who I'm. I'm reprensenting a company that launched a new live cam website few months ago.

Our service is more soft / long online relationship oriented, than just to jerk yourself and use the model as a live jerking online material. It's still possible to go private though.

Well, I'm not from yesterday and I've seen porn becoming more and more hardcore. But I was going through the AI thread on this forum about what AI could bring to porn. Except making all our dirty fantasy become true, AI is also used today for long term online companionship (see all the websites about AI girlfriends etc.).

I'm wondering whether we have lost all humanity or ... are those website actually working?

We want to provide AI online girlfriends, the best ones, because they are actually reals, with their emotions, their mood and their frackin' periods!

We've been advertising on TJ and other for months, with few models live streaming every night. Not a single dudes took a shot at our models.

What's wrong?

"long online relationship" aka parasocial relationship aka farming simps is a very popular business model. In fact that's probably your problem: too much competition. From hot tub/topless meta of twitch to the 20-seconds iphone videos from onlyfans, the barrier to entry is virtually non-existent. And all this is even before AI girlfriends came along (which actually cost more upfront investment from a business), so no need to blame the bots.

I'm genuinely sad to hear your business not doing well. Hopefully it will turn around in time. Best of luck.

What's the name of the cam site so we can have a look and offer opinions?

Well, thanks for your constructive answers.
Indeed, we agree on that and have tried to provide added value rather than simply replicating what established companies already excel at, making them difficult to compete with. Our idea is to make an all in one platform where you can find the best "shorts" from your beloved models last try-on-haul but also engage and create real connection with them through live cams (without having to be on several platforms, tik tok, youtube, onlyfans etc.).

Actually we've provided the tool, but how hard it is to fight against the industry habits. It's even hard to get our models to understand our concept and probably for the visitors too. They see "live cam chat", for them it's equal to online jerking.

We like to say that our concept is like Tinder, MFC and OnlyFans had a baby together. It's all in one. But people (models included) only see the front: MFC like website. Because, of course it requires new skills from them. Tik tokers and try-on-haul models rarely think about engaging live with their audience (appart from OnlyFans models now). And live webcam models rarely produce any "offfline content" because they barely sell them and make most of their incomes in live sessions while co-jerking with their audience.

So my question is, isn't it the biggest barrier, more than the competition which is obviously a big one, more about the industry habits and how people percieve websites at first glance?

Well, the name of the website is Online Companions, but you might struggle to find us for now and will have to tweak your keywords a bit.

This?

The main problem looks like your selection of girls. Cam sites work on a buffet model: there's so many options available that a user will find SOMEONE they are interested in and can communicate with them live. Most of your girls were offline when I visited, which is really only rectified if you brought in more girls or staggered their online availability.

And I'm guessing you already know the majority of revenue made on cam sites are by a small handful of high-spending users, much like a mobile game.

Also, supposedly many cam sites are profitable because they are money laundering centers.

Yup! That's the one.

Disregard the fact that all our models are offline, they are usually online in the evening (CEST timezone) when our ad campaigns are running.

That's the thing, we want to change that. We tell our models to go for 20 dudes which will pay 50€/month more than one dude spending hundreds (if not thousands) just for the display. It's all a concept ;)

Regarding our models, or the look of the front page ... Well, our models are real girls, with their pro and cons, they are not astagram filtered to look perfect. Though, we agree on the fact that they for now produce real bad quality content, and we hope they'll do better later.

We struggle to get people (visitors and models) to understand and stick to the concept. If that works, then we'll have leverage to incientive models to create better content.

The question still remains ^^ Months of advertising on TJ and others when our models are online and nobody gives a f***

How can we change that? How can we make visitors understand it's different?

Regarding this point, we also know well that it's pretty much regulated now and that it's not so easy ....

OK! congratulations for having the guts to try something new. The concept the way you describe it, and the business model you want to provide the models is a novel one.

The main problem is I understood your concept after you nicely explained it. I did not understand it from the homepage, which looks like a cam site, so many visitors probably think it's just another cam site with a very limited selection of girls.

Have you tried making the homepage look like a dating site or something that display the girls like they are being profiled, with big portrait-style images instead of cam-sized screenshot thumbnails? If you are offering the feel of a relationship and not voyeuristic satisfaction like a cam site, then you should present your models like companions.

Also, what do you use as a lander for your ads? Does it go straight to the site or do you have an engaging lander like a questionnaire or survey?

This conversation is beginning to become too much like business advice talk. If you want to continue, we can move it to direct message.

regarding your question 'has become too hardcore?' - It feels the same. 20 years ago the gonzo companies ruled, and you would be bombarded with double anals and pretty rough sex all the time in porn. Now we have more single-story-driven like Brazzers or the endless faux-incest.

I'll stop pointing out things that I think are wrong on here. I'll be as quiet as a mouse from now on.

Hey, well that's quite a rude question. I didn't share any link or anything. I came here to brainstorm not to advertise. Now I understand you're from the modo of this forum, and as far as I can see, they are plenty of ads ongoing here, so shouldn't be an issue for you.

And we're talking about 477 view of this thread .... I really don't get your intervention actually ...

Plus if you're actually an affiliate of the advertisement company we use, you might have already seen our ads.

I don't even know why I have to justify myself.

Well ... Didn't come here to judge anything.

But paying for ads when you have views seems like a dumb move :D

This forum has the chance of being an old established one. It's great.

Now, how do we make this industry evolve? haha

I'm sure there is something in between hardcore porn and AI girlfriends (at least we hope!)

But I don't see how it's wrong. You made a point, like all the indrustry relies on cooptation backlinks.

You were wrong, because I didn't come for that ... Maybe that's what was shocking to you ^^

Yeah all porn is in 69. Everybody suck the dick of every one ;) Personally, I prefer Ɛ1.

Let me first preface that I have zero interest in the type of product you are offering so maybe I'm not the best candidate to offer any suggestions and/or opinions bur here goes anyway.

1-I don't know that anyone was looking for another cam site so you have a huge uphill battle before even considering that yours doesn't offer anything different from the competition and in many ways a lot less.

2-I've always felt that this forum caters more toward people who while they don't mind paying for porn. They prefer to pay a one lump sum that gets them a specific service as opposed to the cam business model where you buy tokens but have no clue how many you will need spend to get something and if the info on your site is accurate then the best deal one might get is 500 tokens for 40 Euros.

3- I also can't help but fell that these types of sites prey on lonely people by offering them the illusions of a connection that is not there and will never be there because one person is only doing it to make money and has a vested interests in keeping it's prey interested by lying to them and ultimately that's not right.

That said It's just the opinion of a nobody who already admitted that he doesn't care for this type of product.
