I think some of you are confusing gay with penis obsession. As I've learned in this forum men are obsessed with the penis in all forms. Double anal isn't gay. It's just a means of getting more penis in there. Freud was no dummie.

Analog-Digital Gayness Scale (ADGS), I think DP is a 5, DPP a 6, and DAP a 7. Assuming the A of the DAP is female. Otherwise, the number goes up significantly.

Steph, I agree with you. As I said, I think it comes back to the insecurity of the purportedly heterosexual male. Insecure straight men have a tendency to label images of males as "gay" even if they aren't in a gay context. It's a self-defense mechanism to banish the notion that the straight male might be attracted by what he sees. It's a form of self-denial.

I thought the discussion ended up being about whether certain acts in "straight" porn had an element of "gayness" about them, with an underlying assumption and overtly expressed opinions that the potential gayness of thoses acts was a bad thing. I don't have an opinion if the said acts are or not, I don't care at all.

My responses have been mostly based on the idea that this board is some kind of a community, one that has a number of clever gay people as members. To say that someone's sexual orientation is disgusting seems to be a disrespectful way of treating people in a community, virtual or real. Nothing more to add. Here ends my mollycoddle "be nice to each other" lecture.

Freud invented double anal??

Sorry, I have nothing worthwhile to contribute to this thread, which is both one of the funniest and saddest I have read here in a long time.

Sir Noel Plum said:
"Modesty generally stops me from dwelling on my all too numerous plus points but I agree it is great that I have found a girl who can see past my fabulous looks and godlike physique to the sensitive, suave and sexy character that lies beneath without feeling totally overwhelmed by my overall magnificence. In fact now I think about it I have had quite a string of good luck because no girl I have dated has ever seemed particularly overwhelmed by me; in fact there has been a notable lack of even moderate whelming and an uninformed observor might actually erroneously assume that I am, in fact, a git. I am not a git. I am a cunt (as we have previously established) and a perfectly preened and presented cunt at that (in my view)!"

There seems to be a mistaken belief here that if an act makes you uncomfortable or is outside the bounds of what you consider acceptable it must be 'gay.'

What I would like to know is if any of you people who find DP or DAP 'gay' have actually asked a homosexual male what he thinks. If he doesn't find it sexually interesting then one can hardly claim it's 'gay.' After all, who should know better?

Now that I've defended double-whatever as the birth-right of macho straight dudes everywhere, let me just say that I really have no interest in it. I don't like it for aesthetic reasons: too many men obstruct the view.

Fockwolfe, returning to your original post, may I suggest that your complaint isn't about 'straight' porn so much as it is about porn not reflecting sex as the majority of us know it in real life. Instead, porn is largely exploring fetishistic fantasies that, while thrilling to some, leave many wondering what the point is.

One wonders if the porn intelligensia received some garbled galactic message about object-oriented programming while watching the Ringling Brothers Circus on their TV, with the resulting confusion creating the horrifying results we see today.

One interesting theory is that straight porn is inching towards the bisexual utopia. In the bisexual utopia, male-male interactions are just as frequently depicted as female-female interactions. The current double standard (i.e. showing female-female but not male-male) is essentially being slowly extinguished. For straight porn to become respected in the mainstream, this needs to happen.

In any case, double anal is not gay. But if one guy had his cock in the other's ass, then that's gay.

Many indeed! Here's hoping that untold riches will be showered upon the brave soul who dares cater to this puzzled (and hopefully large!) segment of market!

If a male is 100% straight, should he not only watch GG movies? I mean, look at all those naked men in BG porn, that is so gay!

I think part of the problem is that people want to label porn according to the perceived sexuality of those who are watching it. Consider the expression "straight porn" which, to these people, is porn for a straight audience. This pigeon-holing, however, is quite deceptive - in reality, a wide cross-section of sexualities like to watch it. Same with gay porn - in reality, some lesbians, straight women and straight men like to watch it.

The best way to label porn is to label it according to its content. So, according to content of current straight porn, a better label would be "porn showing straight guys and bisexual women".

Every gay guy I know loves to watch DAP; many actually prefer it to gay porn. (I work as a bartender in a gay establishment)
They even love DPP (even though they say pussy is 'revolting') because a DPP changes the shape of a pussy so much it could be any hole.

And I'm not saying DAP is gay. If it was gay they'd be in each other.
But it IS bisexual.
It's a guilty pleasure for men who desperately need, no matter what, to consider themselves 'straight' and 'normal' and as you said 'macho'.

There's a HUGE difference between unavoidable male nudity in straight porn and two dicks intentionally rubbing together inside a very tight hole. Then it is no longer 100% Straight.
Why can't people understand that?

UCpanther,

What you say is interesting. One theory is that the proliferation of DAP movies is the result of appealing to gay and bisexual men while not alienating the straight man. The companies that produce the DAP movies may well have hit on a winning formula here that appeals to a wide demographic of men.

In any case, I think we should all enjoy whatever it is we enjoy, and without excessive introspection.

UCpanther,
Did I steal the last french fry, or something? It really is about Teagan's amazing ass. Its about the extreme. Its about how I would like to see Christie Lee, Serena South or some other incredible babe doing multiple guys, girls, nuns, kitchen utensils, Subway sandwiches, whatever. When I saw Serena South doing an old woman in a video, I almost killed my TV with a jizz rocket. I've taken Psychology 200-something Human Sexuality as well. I know the studies that have been conducted. If what you are saying had any validity, I would have progressed to Dirk Yates about 10 years ago with as much smut as I watch. But, as it is, I'm robbing a bank as we speak for the Carpal Tunnel mishap that JM's all-Female Bukkake is going to cause. Sorry. You can say I'm in denial all you want. But, OMG, I wish I wish in Jewel De'nyle. BOOOOOOOOOOOONNNG!!!!

Swayze,

Each person's experience is different. UCpanther is forming an opinion from his experience. You have your experience and hence your own opinion. Both of you have valid points.

Look, Swayze, I'm not calling you gay. I believe that you're attracted to women. But a 100% Straight guy would be turned off by even the thought of two dicks rubbing together.

But you guys will keep on saying "I don't like it because of the two dicks tightly rubbing together and the feel of warm cum. I like it because it's 'Extreme' or I like it because it's 'Nasty'."

Those are Porn Marketing Terms to sell to guys who must be able to consider themselves straight no matter what they get off on.

I'm sorry, guys, I'm just a little dog in a big porn kennel. I just feel like George Will or Dr. Phil are going to walk into the room at any time. (what if they rubbed their penises together?) Speaking as both a pot-smoking, 20 pound dog and a famous anthropologist, I acknowledge that us macho crank yankers are only about 97% heterosexual. In the dawn of man, there was always the the contingency that our cavewomen would be eaten by sabre-tooth tigers or be a tyrannosaurus rex bukkake victim. Our cavemen fathers had to have a worst-case scenario backup plan. (hairy man-ass) Obviously, as our pea-sized brain evolved, we realized the tribe wasn't growing when we plowed the ass of Ug, the tribal leader. Later, when the ice-ages kicked in, vegetation wasn't the only thing that died; so did our inhibitions. There is a reason that National Geographic does not show the cave-drawings of two "evolving" knuckle draggers rubbing their dicks together inside a very startled-looking polar bear-type animal. They were conserving heat. Its called friction. How the hell do you think fire was discovered in the first place? Arthur is right. Different strokes for different folks.

Too funny swayze :)

I don't mind porn evolving at all. There are so many subgenres and so many fetishes out there, and more importantly, so many movies being made; that no one should really fear that there will be nothing for their taste. I think it's time to get over the idea that F/F is ok but M/M is not. After all, people decide for themselves if they want to see/buy it.

However, what I really think is happening is not that gay stuff is becoming more "normal". I think that barrier is as tall as ever, what is happening now is just that companies and pornstars are trying to be even more "hardcore" to attract attention from an audience that has seen everything before. And that can be bad for the people who would like to see variety, not just A2M/DAP....

Wierd . Does that mean - in time honored reverse logic fashion - that anything I (as a hetro bloke) don't find sexually interesting can't be claimed to be 'straight' ? If that's true then DP/DAP must be some strange shit , neither straight nor gay ! Gaight perhaps , or maybe Stay . But dull certainly .

You're right. I should have said a group of gay men, and none of them finding it sexually interesting.

Is this really the point? If someone says he doesn't get turned on by looking at the back of a scrotum, I wouldn't expect him to change his mind just because a group of gay men are also not excited by that particular scrotum.

Hmmm, let's back up. My starting point was in reading poster A say he didn't like some act, it was gay. Now just because he doesn't like act A and he doesn't like group B doesn't mean A=B. I was asking for proof other than his opinion that A=B, and pointing out that if group B rejected A that might be a clue that his opinion and reality differed. I'm not sure how you got that if group B rejected A our poster should change his opinion. He's welcome to dislike A and B, as far as I'm concerned, just not to confuse the two.

I take your point Hardware. Your logic is sound. I was just trying to relate it to the original post of the thread.
No mention of whether anything appeals to gay men, just a statement that he wants to see more focus on the women.

It's such a great word too. I've always wanted an excuse to say "scrotum" in a post.

Do not mock the sac!

They're a great argument against the theory of intelligent design.
Lets make them really sensitive, and then put them in an external thin sack, hanging just between the legs so it's extra easy to hit.

Damn things should have been stuck in a bone plated internal enclosure.

Karmic compensation for childbirth?
Or does God really exist, and she designed the scrotum on a day with a really bad case of PMS?

Then, what would you call the act of masturbation. And I'm not talking in skin flicks, but in your own, private privacy. Isn't the onanistic act, a mans hand rubbing a penis, or would you disagree?

It's about the cocks not the anus. An incidental shot of a man's anus in a straight porn is very different from two dicking rubbing together in a tight hole on purpose.
Scientific studies have shown that something like 99% of heterosexual masculine men will get aroused just from the sight of an erect cock.
Whether or not they admit it, in watching DAP men are getting off on seeing two dicks together.
It's hypocritical to claim it's about Teagan when you can barely see any of her.
******************************************

I agree!! But the men won't -- it's too subconscious and they don't want to go there.

Why? I have debated porn with many of my friends, and while being a bit outwards homophobic like many straight men, none admitted to ever mind that... It's quite normal to see in today's porn anyway.. a girl blowing two guys at the same time.

It's only dick... Really, it's only dick.. It's not like they're fucking each other. Many people just don't mind at all, and that doesn't need to mean anything regarding their sexuality. I really fail to see any significance in how men react to seeing dicks being rubbed...

Why does it have to mean anything? People react way differently towards other phenomena.. some scream if they see a spider, some work in hospitals and get used to seeing stuff we would be scared or repulsed at... My point is: There are way too many variables here to conclude anything about a person's sexuality from how they react to the dicks being rubbed...

I remember watching my first porn at age 13. For the first 10+ movies I saw I could not look at the cock... I looked away whenever it entered the picture. I had never seen an erect adult cock before. That behavior was not genetically hardwired in my sexuality. It was just my way of reacting based on my upbringing, my ideas of sex etc. As I got older and watched more porn, I never minded watching an erect cock in straght sex ever again...
