Always liked seeing some stars in something other than just porn , Sasha Knox became a real favorite of mine , she seemed like such a nice real person on My Bare Lady . Actually suprised that no cable channel has done anything like this yet , considering all the soft core stuff on , Real Sex , Taxicab Confessions ect .

"We're going to make a sprawling epic about the porn business in LA," Frey told the paper." We're going to tell the type of stories no one else has told before, and go places no one has gone before." "Of course, it helps immensely that I am a lying sack of shit," he did not add.
Probably going to be a subpar drama about deluded starlets, drug addicts and broken people. Just more of the same stereotypes that everyone thinks of when they think of the porn world.
Wahlberg has been involved in a lot of good projects, both as an actor and producer. And HBO has a golden touch. So it should be interesting.Much ado about nothing.
I'm not a fan of Frey, never read the book. But all anger about it was pointless and nonsensical. If it helped, what differences does it make to learn after the fact that it was a lie? It helped you. You figured some things out. So what's changed? Nothing. And since this HBO series is fiction, again what difference does that previous book make to this? Apparently this guy write fiction, seemingly compelling fiction at that. Too much anger over such a trivial thing.
There was tv show on Fox years ago called "Skin" about the porn biz. It didn't last the whole season. I liked it. If it's half as good as that, I'm sure I'll like it.
I'd be more thrilled if HBO did a show about the porn biz but used mainstream actresses instead of pornstars. Now that might be interesting to see. If not then is this going to bring anything new to the table?
The show only lasted two episodes. Parents groups drove it off the air from Fox before it could really have a chance to get a story going. I remember reading bout Ginger Lynn having a great role on the show.
