I have seen people complain about this show for being creepy/rapey/pornographic and wondered if it was some Gen Z puritanism. I don't mean that in an "anti-woke" way. I mean the tendency now to exclude all sexual representations from mainstream media and the disgusted/irritated reaction when a show or movie dares to feature a sex scene. Anyway, is it really that graphic? I won't watch it either way but just wondering.

No, it's not graphic at all. Most of the reaction seems to be because the sex is lightly BDSM and it is about a abusive relationship with a S&M dynamic. Which probably makes it sound better than it is, it only really becomes interesting in the last episode. One of those series where you could have just had the first and last episode as everything else in between is just treading water.

Very much a music video vibe throughout. The music in the series is probably the best thing about it.
