I doubt that there's an easy solution to this. So, I got an HDTV w/o a headphone jack. Problem is that I like watching my porn discreetly and the walls in my condo are pretty thin. So, I bought an adapter for my headphones: one that plugs into the red and white holes on the TV. Works, but the maximum volume is lower than I would like it to be. I can turn the volume on the TV way but the max volume for the headphones while they are plugged in stays much lower. And I've tried these headphones on TV's with headphone jacks and never encountered that problem. My headphones don't have a volume control and the DVD player's volume control also maxes out rather low.
Is there ANYTHING I can do?
thanks.

Wow, dude thanks. I already found one for less than $20. Will definitely be ordering one. Remind me to buy you a beer if I ever see you.

Heh. No problem. Let us know what model you got and how it works out once it arrives. Maybe write a small review in case someone searches for the same issue in the future
I have used them a few times before but couldn't really recommend a specific one.
