Just think of all the titles they still have to put out on disk. They have not even gotten to the Nasty Girls series or the Nasty Nymphos line. When you compare all those unreleased Anabolic titles (probably somewhere around 50 or 60 titles all together) to Diabolic's 4 or 5 titles in total. I can understand why they are consentrating on getting the Anabolic stuff out as fast as possible.  [Link] |

Although NASTY NYMPHOS has not found its way to disc yet, it's pretty remarkable that within a year, they have managed to output THE GANGBANG GIRL series up to the VHS releases. However, they have done such a superb job at mastering their discs (especially THE GANGBANG GIRL series) and at putting out superb compilations (ANABOLIC CUMSHOTS) that I can forgive the lack of bonus materials. Since day one, Anabolic DVDs have exceeded the video and audio standards of quality of most major adult studios, including Vivid, Caballero, and Elegant Angel. I do see Baron.net's point as far as questioning their marketing strategies, but as a longtime fan, I am pleased as peaches to see the older stuff get priority treatment. And again, Anabolic has done an amazing job at releasing so many titles so fast. | umpjones Adam & Eve Titanic USA 12 Posts 8/00 | Posted - Jul 19 2001 : 2:02PM I've seen a ton of DVDs and for the most part they are all flat linear transfers with the options being chapter scenes, photo gallery, and preview trailers. Wicked and Adam & Eve seem to have the best high-end DVD product. More often than not, their DVDs contain full length bonus scenes, interviews and behind the scenes (check out Dreamquest, Flashpoint or The Gate from Wicked and Witch's Tail and Appassionata from Adam & Eve). Occassionally, I will see a high-end DVD from another production company; however, the majority are basic with no real "extras." [Link] |
