yeah, I read on AVN in her interview that they are accepting donations for her or something like that.
The article is linked somewhere around here, or you can just find it on AVN. I have no idea if she is still in Cali, or what, but that is what I read last week.
I think wild accusations like that should be kept to yourself. I mean this girl is only 18 right, I don't think she had some diabolical plan to infect as many people as she could if indeed she was the first case. Regardless we dont need this kind of negativity on the boards, unless you have some concrete evidence to support your statement. So please refrain from those type of posts in the future.
However she contracted HIV, she's a vulnerable person because of it. Being from Canada, she is not part of the social or commercial porn network in California. Based on the interview on the AVN website, she is not affluent. I noted the AVN item about their passing along any contributions that people might want to make. My question is more trying to determine if anyone is interested in making a effort on her behalf that might amount to some real assistance. I suspect that she could use it. I have noted other hostile remarks about her on this site. I am merely a consumer of porn and, obviously, do not know anything about her or the general situation other than the information that is publicly available to anyone. From my perspective--maybe naive--humane concern is in order.
Unfortunately, now Jessica Dee has tested HIV+ in addition to Lara. And AVN reports that AIM is positive that Darren James was indeed Patient 0.
This is all such horrible news. I was going through one of the websites affiliated with bangboat.com and teensforcash.com. This one featured Canadian girls, though the site didn't really acknowledge this fact. And who should I come across in an update from Feb./Mar. (I can't remember when exactly)? Lara Roxx.
Judging by the comments on this thread, nothing is being done for her. If so, that is very wrong. Many of us have the resources to be quite helpful to her. Is she still in California?
Perhaps she is going to take some action on her own behalf. I noticed in the article about her in "The Los Angeles Times" that an attorney is associated with her situation. Unless the attorney is stupid, everyone in sight will be sued.
From my perspective, after reading the article, she seems to be an even more sympathetic figure, if that is possible, than I had first supposed. I was pleased to read that she has a boyfriend, and I hope that he has the financial and emotional resources to be supportive of her in the face of her infection.
Lara Roxxx was an escort from Toronto, I've seen her escort ad when I was doing some preliminary research on some models who I was looking at for possibly doing shoots with...good thing I didn't do a shoot with her...............she deserves our utmost sympathy, she has not had a life that any young person deserves....
