I was wondering if one can be a member for this site and download movies or do they only sell vhs and dvds?

It is a confusing site and it doesnt help that everything is in German. Thanks for any help

No, 1stunna, this site is not a place to join for a membership or for downloading movies and all.

It is - thanks to German laws - a sole information and discussion site. Information and discussion about KitKat/Subway products to be precise.

Well, Mr.White is right ... but they explained why it is the way it is. I don´t intend to translate every word but let me tell you this. According to the fucked up laws in the "Kraut" and "Fatherland" it is (seems) not (to be)legal to have a system like "AVS". If one want´s to get access to a site with this "german_way_of_verification" he/she would have to visit (in person) the owner of the site and show his id (in person) to the Sitemanager. then he/she would get their login data. There´s another way though (but as lame as the first one) ... one has to print out a certain form ... then go to the next post office and have his/her ID checked from a post office clerk (a fee applies). The post office guy sends the written form to the Webhost and then he/she get´s her logon data. The last statement on the site was a "hint" (warning) to anybody that want´s to start xxx activities from germany without these stupid proceedings. (one year in jail or something like this)

After all Adults are treated like kids in good old land of the "Kraut" But thats not all ... i´ve read some things that even goes so far to introduce countrycodes (similar with the dvd codes) to satellite CI modules. So if you have a CI module with the "wrong" country code (probably hardcoded) you will never be able receive X content via satelite. No wonder people seek other ways of seing what they want. Some time soon i´m afraid that recording from free sat tv will be disabled too. Now that we finally have the equipment to have recordings without loss of quallity we are being punished with all this DRM bullshit. All i can say is ... if i can´t record it i ain´t gonna watch it either and therefore ain´t goona invest a fucking dime into any hard_disk_vcr.
