I still remember last year (or was in '04?) during the porn industry shutdown because of the HIV thing, Jay Leno, in a show of show business solidarity, invited several porn girls on his show to be cuecard holders. I think Sunrise Adams and Hannah Harper, among others, were there. Anyone else remember this? He also told a joke on this: due to the HIV scare, more than 3000 actors, more than 500 cameramen, and one writer are out of work.

I remember that. Jay started 'porn speak' & the gag was that Hannah (in a bikini I believe) had brought in one of her own cards.

1. Individuals like porn.
2. Some people like to be mavericks.
3. The notoriety.
4. The women. For the women it might be the men or the women. Hell, for some men it might also be the men (happy arthur?).
5. A party is a party. Lets face it, that fame is going to get more ass.

Hollywood doesn't seem so much against the porn industry. Rather it's that they seem fearful to be associated with it. IMO the views of the current administration in this country seems to have a "trickle-down" effect on the minds of the populous causing people who are in the spotlight to be tentative when it comes to who they are know to be affiliated with.

If that makes any sense...
