When I'm selecting a title, I look for which girls are in the movie. If there's one I like, I might rent it; if there's two, it's probably a rental, and if there are three or more, it's a sure thing rental. The more likely the rental, the more likely the purchase. A single movie, Darkside style, about one of "my" girls is a guaranteed buy, sight unseen.

I don't agree that a movie with five different girls is five times more likely to be a rental/purchase. There are certain performers that I want to see, and I really can't see too much of their work: Sabrine Maui, Luci Thai, Lucy Lee (the Czech one), etc.

I appreciate that this concept only works for the really popular stars. But we know who they are: check out the "Playing with" series, or others that focus on one girl.

As for return on investment, ask Jules Jordan if "Gina Lynn's Darkside" make any dough. And wait to see what happens to Jenna Haze's Darkside once distribution gets it out more widely.

I also understand that picking up a vid with five girls may introduce me to a new one that I might like.

I'd be happy if the "star" got two scenes (out of the standard 5-6 scene DVD).

The problem with one girl in every scene, in addition to some of the points made here, also involves quality and scene types. Too often, in order to pad-out a single DVD to feature one girl, lez scenes, more niche-like stuff and multi-partner material is included which really doesn't interest me. If we want the focus to be on the "girl," the star, this is where they lose me.

Also, very rarely are such immersive experiences shot and produced with the quality that Jules Jordan brings to the table.

I'd love to see a single-girl DVD with the following mix of scenes:
(1) B/G - full-sex
(2) B/G - BJ only
(3) B/G/G - with true cum-swapping (no spitting please)
(4) B/B/G - give the DP and multi-cumshot guys their due
(5) B/G - second full-sex scene
(6) Girl's Choice - let her name the type of scene she wants to do (maybe during an interview segment?), then cut to the action. Absolutely anything the girl honestly chooses.

Personally to be honest i rarely buy porn...why? cause i don`t want to spend 25$ + shipping on one scene as i can`t care less most of the time about other girl. Im VERY selective over porn, having watching it for a bunch of years now.

Then, as probably mentioned, you entirely miss those who aren't such huge fans of a specific porn star that they want every scene with her in it. Much of the time, fans will rent/buy movies with only the one hot scene with their favorite star. So certainly no monetary incentive.

Jules Jordan was smart. Many have said that Jenna Haze was their favorite - when she was doing gonzo. Well this is her first movie back from JKP (or close to it). So there is that pent up demand.
