It would kind of suck, as far as earnings go, to be paid for a scene once, while that same scene gets released on multiple comp dvd's... And this has been brought up earlier - Porn Valley is nothing like Hollywood... I understand that to an extent, but I am curious if that is really a good thing or not, or just neccessary. Personally, I would think that making movies, even porn, is profitable because of the performers more so than producers or directors, so imo the performers should be the ones getting paid the most... and I might be wrong, but isn't that how Hollywood mostly works? I know (or think?) the argument is that without the producers, there is no film to buy, so since the producers make the film possible, they deserve their bigger cuts.
