Is John Leslie pretty much the only person producing these nowadays ? I've had a look around and not found anything , so what am I missing - something tells me it's obvious !

True Joey, those are the first few definitions. One of the last definitions talks about 'brief incident or scene'. (Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary)
... oh, and graceful doesn't enter into it in this case.
You should check out Suze Randall's videos. They are without a doubt the best looking porn movies I've ever seen. Beautiful girls (as good as, if not better than Vivid's), great wardrobes and sets, hot, hard sex without the circus acts and just enough of a plot to keep you from fast forwarding thru the scene. Maybe the best cross between Vivid and gonzo that i've seen.
Personally I really like the Pornochic series from Marc Dorcel, an upmarket Euro series (usually around six individual stories per disc) with the emphasis on classy honeys. It also delivers good, hard fucking, and reminds me a little of Private in their prime.
Private do a vignette series called Private Reality - it's variable, but occasionally you strike gold.
As much as it has become my albatross, it seems everyone I have produced for wants me to do vignettes.

I get confused with Wall to Wall and Gonzo. I have always been under the impression that gonzo was along the lines of a guy with a camera doing his thing, Wall to Wall is just new sex scenes right after another and Vignettes were short stories. All different genre's of adult entertainment.
Whenever I watch a vignette, they are a series of stories in one film, all different and original.
As for classy vignettes, please define classy!!! Some of us pervs like the scenes hard and raw but get bored with the same ol hum drum of mass produced scenes.
Maybe instead of the government trying to classify fast food resteraunts as a manufacturing industry they might want to take a closer look at porn!!! The economists would probably be amazed at the efficiency of the adult industry and might even realize that the natural resources don't even pollute the enviroment or displace endangered species!!!
