Hiya all,im new to the boards :O) Ive got a question and want some advice really.I have a very high sex drive and i will try anything once and up for most things with my husband.BUt he just does not have a very high sex drive. This causes alot of arguments and also makes me feel pretty bad and neglected at times :-(.I make up for it by watching alot of off porn and masterbation.I watch porn id say at least once a day when i get the chance.(Mr Pete being my top man at the mommment ;o) Is it common for a women to have a higher sex drive?Ive been married for 12 years, love him to bits but just want more sex,am i being selfish?
It happens. Especially when woman are approaching their 40's and nature does everything to get a baby at the last chance.
The sex drive for man is high in his first years and falls year by year. Woman have a peak of their sex drive in their early years and when they get into menopause.
Testosterone or related hormones are responsible for sex drive in woman and man. Although scientist don't know everything yet.
But to have a desire for sex isn't needed. It's like knowing something is good and you simply do it,erections and orgasm are working normally. When he gets good experiences during sex he will do it even if he isn't in the mood for it. But when he has to work 12 hours a day and isn't eating healthy food than chances may be small.
Im 36 and he is 39,ive always had a high sex drive,he did when we first got together, but now its kind of maybe once a week or fortnight.Surely thats not normal? But then he looks at porn on the pc most nights.I dont mind that im very open about that,i dont mind him watching or looking at porn.Id just like to have a bit more sex even if it was twice a week lol.He is healthy, does get plently off rest. And another thing,he will not do oral on me.He used to but doesnt now, where as i love to give him a blowjob.
Well others have relationship advise, so beyond pointing out that argueing doesn't help, I can only say that not everybody is physically matched.
That said, is he pre-occupied? Sometimes the mind is just too focused on problems in life. The worst case of this, depression, will definitely kill sex drive in many. Does he come back from work drained physically or mentally? Another possible factor. Cardiovascular conditioning can also affect sex drive.
Maybe you’re just like my mother She’s never satisfied (she’s never satisfied) Why do we scream at each other This is what it sounds like When doves cry Just an opportunity to quote Prince really. I'm not saying that's the issue. I just remembered the lyrics when reading your post.
I wouldn't say it's common for a woman to have a higher sex drive than the man, of course there are exceptions. But generally speaking, men are always horndogs with higher sex drives than women.
That said, I think you should embrace your sexuality and not feel awkward about it. It's fine that you want more sex, nothing unusal or selfish at all.
Add the Sex Slave outfit and I'm up to four times a day on weekends . . .
P.S. to croy -- To me, 47 doesn't feel much different to me than 27 did. I know myself better, accept myself more, and see more complexity in life. Otherwise, I'm basically the same inside my head and below my waist.
Concerning him NOT going down on you anymore , Make sure everything is fresh, trim and sexy. Then try to seduce him. "sexy" relates to you wearing those items he finds really sexy. So if you notice that he's a little more horny when you wear a specific type of high heels or you wearing that little schoolgirl skirt ... then wear it. This also includes hair style and attitude. So if he loves seeing a lady with long hair and you chopped off your ponytail ... thats part of the issue. Obviously, "trim" and "fresh" relates to the neighborhood around the clit.
Also, it's less sexy if he goes down on you AFTER you nag him or harp on the subject on a regular basis.
It may be none of my business, but I don't believe you've been reading Evie's posts very carefully.
She's said that she's up for almost anything, that she's offered to masturbate for her husband, that she's experimented with costumes, and that she shaves her pubes.
Somehow, I doubt that the advice she needs is to keep her pussy clean and not to nag her husband about eating it.
Somebody may have replied with my answer. However, some answers need to be repeated.
And, the word "fresh" has a broader meaning then the word "clean". "fresh" also relates to what is "new", "green" and "innocent" (even a psedo-innocence if necessary).
So what if she was "not clean". Nobody is 100 percent clean all the time. Obviously, her solution could be an answer that HE will NOT say to her directly. You never know.
As for "nagging" and its meaning, if she keeps bring up the subject over and over again then it can be a form of nagging. Even if she does the nagging in a friendly, nice way.

I don't think it's common for a woman to have a higher sex drive, but it's very much appreciated. When having sex, you give your body, soul and love juices to your husband, and I wouldn't say wanting to give more is selfish.
After all that was said here I'm sorry to say I don't know why this could be (unless maybe he has personal issues he won't talk about). In my case it would be quite a lot easier. The day I'll start to refuse going down on my baby you will all know that I'm no longer amongst the living.

lol erm i am clean very clean infact, and im always clean 100 percent of the time :O)

I dont bring the subject up over and over again,we have sat down and chatted about it,i dont sit there saying 'oh for god sake get down and give me some cunilingus for god sake'
