The association of fully shaved and underage was widely held until the late 80s/early 90s shift in porn normalized the look both in porn and in wider society. Before that it was definitely considered at least kinky, in a few features the actual shaving of the pussy hair was part of the scene. Anti-porn forces have long claimed the look was supposed to appeal to pedophilia, how that matched with the trend for big fake boobs was never explained. Most in the industry claimed it became popular because it gave the viewer a clear look at the performer's gentalia. Not sure I buy that as we all know that gentials are still pretty clearpy visible witj just some trimming. These trends are often just trends because they become trends, their 'reasons' can be obscure. Now the pendulum is swinging the other way in porn, which is good for me personally as I prefer bush.
