Hi!Does anyone have any recommendations for features that have women wearing(at least at first...)elegant outfits such as gowns,corsets,lace-up boots, etc?I have a movie entitled The Secret of Harlot Hill(2001)which has such a wardrobe, and I was also quite impressed with the settings they used in the film, both indoors and outdoors.
Another favorite of mine is Trashy Lady(1985)which is set in the 20's,and while the wardrobe from that era isn't as extravagant,it's still very enticing.
This is a genre that I've never delved into very deeply(and I can't explain why),but it's high-time I did.So,any suggestions for high-caliber features set from the 1700's-early 1900's would be appreciated.Thanks...

I'd suggest:

The Tatiana series from Private and the Josephine Mutzenbacher series from Herzog (some of which have been released under various names by Caballero) should fit your needs.

Anaxtasia and Gamiani come to mind.
You might check out the IAFD and EGAFD's actress pages for Anita Blond, Anita Dark, Erika Bella, Laura Angel, Lea Martini and Kelly Trump. Between them, they cover a lot of movies which fit the bill. Look for films directed by Luca Damiano or Joe d'Amato.
Alternately, check out titles from Marc Dorcel, In-X-Cess , Tip Top and Xcel. As Flash indicated, Private has some period pieces, too, but the hit ratio will be much lower.
PS - Wicked distributes some of Dorcel's titles in the USA. I can't recall off the top of my head whether any of them are period pieces, but the Laure Sainclair stuff tends to have up-scale dress. At any rate, the originals from Dorcel are in PAL format.

There's also quite a few classic Magma titles, many of which have been re-released recently, good stuff!
Magma is a German studio, you can buy their DVDs from Erodvd.nl or Orgazmik amongst others.

Thanks for all the replies so far!I'm doing some research, and will be adding to my wishlist/shopping cart,no doubt!
I have two Marc Dorcel films and they are both great(they aren't of the historical variety).I have one with Laure Sinclair and one with Monica Cameron & Stephanie Steel(one of the most gorgeous women I've seen in adult films, unfortunately it's the only film I have of hers!).

Almost anything that featured Lili Xene from the 80's and 90's featured her wearing leather and satin corsets, heels and gloves. Most of her stuff has become pretty obscure and I'll be damned if I can give you a list of titles.
