People seem to be falling over themselves on this site to outdo each other in making apocalyptic statements and forecasts concerning the current HIV outbreak in the industry. A lot of medical "experts" have also been crawling out of the woodwork and for me at least, the whole thing is starting to get a bit depressing and tiresome. How many more fucking doom-and-gloom threads do we need about this?

So to buck the trend, here's a bit of GOOD news for a change:
I read today in some news forum that I stumbled across on the Web that FOUR of the female talent (Persia being one, can't recall the other three though) who did scenes with Darren James in the period immediately before his diagnosis and who are on his 1st generation list have all tested NEGATIVE more than 30 days after they worked with him. They're not out of the woods just yet, but this is a hopeful sign and means that their chances of turning up positive are now much lower than was previously the case.

So fingers crossed for all these girls and everyone else on the Q lists.

And here's a suggestion for the powers-that-be at ADT: Why not create a separate medical chat forum where those who want to can debate HIV, syphilis, genital warts or whatever to their hearts content? Sure, these are serious issues and I'm not burying my head in the sand hoping that if I do so it will all just go away. But the main reason I visit ADT is to chill out and find some light relief after a hard day's work. I don't necessarily want this shit thrust in my face every time I visit and I'm sure I'm not the only one who feels that way. Bad news I can read any time just by picking up a newspaper or switching on the TV.
