Good question. From what I know about the guys in porn... most people can't last as long as they do. Whether it's holding back from orgasm or retaining an erection. Ever notice that you see the same guys in porn movies? It's cuz only a few guys can do what they do. Although, I'm sure that viagra is used today as well. These guys work in bad conditions and still have to be aroused.

There are a lot of 'tricks' to try. Yes, the porn stars have 'special talent' to be able to get and keep erections as long as they do. Some easy ones would be to use a condom (if you don't already), as this can actually reduce his sensation a bit and help him last. Other things are mentioned in the thread Oneola posted the link to, such as masturbation excercises or having him get you off first. One of the easier things to do (that you will undoubted be in a unique position to help him with) is to 'pace' things a little bit. Don't let your man just get in and slam away, slow him down, change positions, make him stoip for a few second or minutes, pause and resume.
Another possibility is the 'second time around'. Everbody is different in their sexual physiology, but generally speaking if you can get him to either keep going or at least resume soon after he cums, he will probably be able to 'go' longer the second time around. I know that back when I was in my early 20's I could cum and just keep going to number two orgasm. I still can, if the interest is there...but it take a bit more these days --price of aging.
