Director Johnny Boston uses an unconventional camera angle here in doggy position. It's not filmed pointing at the fuckhole like normal but completely from the opposite end at the girls' face. I've always loved this shot in the rare instances that I got to see it. (There was a thread on this a little while back but can't find it now... hopefully someone can pull it up). I loved it, and apparently others did too:
"The best part of the movie is where you get a shot of Lela facing the camera in a doggy position and then see her facial reaction when Mark Wood mounts her. The camera kept the focus on her face." Another review from a different site: "I also really enjoyed the angle of the first position – doggy style – which was totally R-Rated in the way it was filmed (you don’t see Mark’s penetration), but totally hot, because we get to see the look on Lela’s face the whole time she’s getting pounded from behind." I guess I was just hoping that some shooters would read this and maybe realize that there are OTHER ways of shooting those standard positions. Just consider that there's a 360 degree axis both up/down and left/right to work with. That is complete freedom of movement- no need to constrain oneself and always have the camera angled towards the fuckholes. Anyway I hope to see some more unique camera shots in the future- Some will hit some will miss but this just may be the thing to differentiate one's product from the legion of assembly-line shit out there.
I think Lela Star is one to watch out for- uber hot and I saw some flashes of greatness performance-wise. I really think Johhny Boston is an alias for Vince Voyeur, strange considering that he has his own studio now but is shooting for another. But with his connections to Redlight and probably Dion of combat zone no doubt that's understandable. Anyway, he's come a long way since his days at Red Light where his camera stylings were utterly one dimensional and consisted of only two camera angles essentially, face shot, fuck-hole shot....face shot, fuckhole shot :) Now.... he shoots like Chris streams. Respect to him. With many other shooters 'You can't teach an old dog new tricks' so to speak.
