If you're just going to show "real people making real sex" I can't see what good shooting film would do. That's an awful lot of money to see the same thing I can see at home; might as well just use a "handheld cheapycam".

They appear to be.As far as I can tell, yes.There is certainly plenty of natural lubrication on our set. To date, the only couple I can recall using lube was Jeff and Hunter. But we do not dwell on any particular aspect of sex. This might be an area where you would find yourself disappointed with our style.I've thought about it. Certainly much easier to produce. Bad lighting, crappy angles and things like phones ringing in background are hot, its like guerrilla porn. I like my own... I find that porn quite more exciting than many other kinds of mainstreem porn. Most of mainstreem porn nowadays lack a good story or make a childish story that make me feel retarded watching it. I like mainstreem porn, don't get me wrong but with a good plot and with issues that can arose me. Going back to homemade porn with the digital camcorders and good natural light, the quality has increased a lot. Besides, I shot what I like to see in movies: good close ups, blow jobs that you can tell she's loving it, real wet pussies and so on.

I've only seen a couple of Homegrowns films and that was many years ago. Kandi Peach Productions look pretty amateur but haven't seen any of them. Early Denni O movies were amateur, but are now what I would consider Pro-Am. Amateur Movies and Pro-Am movies are hard to classify.

I love it. so much in fact that I started production company to shoot it. One of the problems I always had with it however was the lack of quality. The thing that turned med on so much was watching, mostly fresh new girls, in their first scenes ever. There is something about the discovery that goes on.
So I would prefer amatuer with attention to quality. Comstock Films is doing great work. Shot at Home and Hal Maroon are hit or miss for me, simply beacause the quality. The idea is to see what is going on so tripod shots and bad lighting just don't do it.

Seriously, it seems like the hey day of amateur stuff was the early 90's. Video cameras were by then cheap enough good enough quality to get some decent stuff. I enjoy it as a change of pace, and certainly some of my favorites are actually amateur vids.
