The worldwide numbers for both HSV-1 and HSV-2 are roughly similar to the American. It is estimated that 60-95% of all adults have either HSV-1 or HSV-2. So yes, it is entirely reasonable to assume that a clear majority of adult models have herpes, because a majority of adults in the general population have herpes.
