Dwarves probably get so used to hearing all these terms that they develop a thick skin and most are probably too polite to continually correct people. But what would I know? Perhaps any dwarves reading would care to comment? Absolutely, the correct way to refer to anyone is by their name. But we're talking about a porn sub-genre that is using someone's dwarfism as a selling point - so they could at least get the term right. This isn't the 1800s. [Link]

When there were lots of companies producing adult movies some of them chose to produce content for various fetishes like midget porn in order to stand out from the crowd and carve out a niche for themselves. Now that you have less companies and a smaller market to sell into the remaining players are choosing to go with more mainstream content. There are still some players doing fetish stuff but just not as many. [Link]
