^It's unfortunate that everyone at ADT got thrown in the same negative category even though it might've been a few people who caused any bad experiences they had here.
I'm not going to comment on Keisha's situation because it's a moot point now but in general don't just about every person who earns a living from the entertainment industry want people to talk about them. Be it good or bad because there must be nothing worse for a person who needs fans to have them no longer care to comment. If a performer truly believes that he or she doesn't need fans then I have news for them. Fans are who buys their products. Fans are the ones who will look for just about everything the performer has done. Your average Joe will join the odd site to see the performers video but is unlikely to then join multiple sites to get the rest.
Ask any mainstream movie star who looses their fan base what happens to their career. It doesn't matter if they were huge box office superstars who brought in millions of dollars to the various studios they worked for. No fan base means that one of their movies who normally would have made more than a decent return on investment because their fans would got see their movie more than once are now staying away and what should have been a hit is now a bomb. How many bombs can a superstar have before a studio stops underlining their name and simply crosses it off the list?
I'm okay if performers accuses ADT posters of being a little too rabid or too opinionated about their professional or private life but to be referred to as being leeches or being part of a toxic environment may be stretching it a little too far.

I find it very strange of Abigail to chime in with a comment like that considering her own thread is full of almost nothing except positivity. As for Keisha, I've learned that certain performers are just oversensitive and can't take the slightest bit of criticism. I love Keisha as a performer and she comes across as a sweet person in interviews I've seen of her, but I think she fits into that category....
I think the problem is that some of the pornstars think that this forum is an extension of their publicity machine and don't understand why anyone would wish to discuss what they're doing or, heaven forbid, be in any way critical. The biggest issue on these threads has been when individual pornstars have lost it and got involved in a slanging match (remember the LR threads!). Everyone on here knows there is a process where MODS will deal with anyone being rude or confrontational. Any pornstar bring something to their attention is guaranteed a swift response. One or two pornstars could do with ringing Angela White for a few pointers on how to deal with these things!

I mean any performer that chooses to participate in this forum must see a boost in interest in her content just by the fact that we are talking about her long after she has posted anything. I mean Mia Melano has a thread that on the surface should make her a superstar. I don't follow a single performer on social media so the only way i know if she has a new scene is when I see it mentioned here or I'm a member of the site it's on.
I also have to point out that I seriously doubt the comments a performer gets on any of her social media platforms is all rosy and sweet. The only difference is that she can block the posters on those platforms.

As for Keisha's Twitter account.....I follow that too, primarily because I'm genuinely interested in hearing what she's doing and when she's releasing anything. I have to say that if you go through the comments on her Tweets you really need a sick bucket to wade through all the fawning over her. Some people think these forums are 'creepy'.....there are far more 'loony toons' out there on the Twittersphere!
^Unfortunately, when there's negativity towards someone (either here or Twitter or anywhere else), they'll pay more attention to the bad comments than the mostly good comments.
A downside for ADT is that with Keisha & Abigail feeling negativity towards ADT and talking about it on Twitter is that it might cause some of the other performers not want to post here or have anything to do with ADT (either short term or long term). Hopefully that doesn't happen and other performers still like ADT (due to having more positive experiences here). We'll see what happens.

Perhaps one should also consider that the 2000s are over and discussion forums have become completely irrelevant for self-marketing. And platforms like Twitter and Instagram are ideal for self-marketing. If none of the girls here write on ADT anymore, it has nothing to do with trolls or critical comments. It's just no longer fashionable. And I don't want to scare anyone now, but the young generation doesn't use myspace anymore either.
The young people don't pay for their porn either. And the kids that used MySpace were the same ones grabbing music from Napster. The value of marketing to the masses here is that the community here is primarily made up of true fans that support their favorite companies and performers with their purchases.

I find it lurid to label oneself as "true fans" and others as thieves. Nobody here knows the people behind the nicknames and I wouldn't presume to imply anything to users of other platforms.
That's correct. I have to repeat that ADT is almost a fan site to the performers. In the interviews they throw softball questions, they get all this free publicity and even if there is valid criticsm at times(which adheres to the rules) there's like 5-10 rabid fans who jump all over them and come to the girls' defense.
And yet, it's still not enough as they still call ADT "toxic" as you just witnessed. You're never gonna find an adult forum more supportive than this while maintaining atleast some level of objectivity. This is not twitter or onlyfans, but I guess some thought it was.
^^^ & ^^ Let's not forget that the 'Star-crossed' threads are primarily for people who are 'fans' of the person who is the subject of the thread. Being a 'fan' or whatever word you want to use doesn't mean you'll spend all your time 'licking the boots' of the subject of the thread. I see the threads as a way of getting info about scenes and other relevant stuff about what the 'star' is doing. I'm also genuinely interested in what different people feel and don't really see anything wrong with Page 107 on the thread. It's mainly healthy discussion and I think everyone on there is basically a 'fan' of Keisha. People saying they like Keisha on Keisha's thread aren't 'rabid fans'! As usual people get drawn to the extremes and the thread is awash with 'fanboys' or a cess-pit of rabid criticism. The vast majority of people on this and all the other 'star-crossed' threads are neither of these but are somewhere in the middle.
I checked that page and nothing was out of line(mods stepped in when that did happen, and the only escalation I see are from Keisha's 'rabid fans') people just gave their input and even added the cliche "her body her choice" almost out of fear. In fact it's a compliment stating that your preference is that the girl stays natural as she is. People have always stated their preferences here within the rules. It's ridiculous.
The only alternative that they wouldn't consider "toxic" is complete fandom/worship and that is what I would consider toxic. Last time that happened was the big Lana Rhoades thread and trust me you don't want that on your platform.
I mean, if she's that sensitive about what people say about her she should rethink things. No offense, but I don't see where is the rudeness in this forum and usually that's moderated to not trash senseless any girl and the fact that she needed to say that in her Twitter tells me she's expecting people to be with her (of course, these girls almost always block anyone with the slightest amount of criticism) licking her boots and getting that gratification she's looking for.
4&3^. All depends on how you look at it and whether you're the person being talked about. Hell, just look at the post 3^. The first sentence, with the "sensitive and maybe rethink" remark and also the "bootlicking" remark at the end. If I were the one being talked about, I might consider both of them a bit on the Richardish side. Then, if I were the performer, I'd probably be told to get a thicker skin if I called them out.
But what is really ironic, is Keisha said the vibe was toxic and was done posting here and numerous people quickly developed real thin skins when called out

Of course, if you're so bothered if for example, I call one your tattoos bad, then I'm I right in telling you're too sensitive and should rethink things, not because my remarks/criticism (don't confuse with mindless insults/trolling) are true, but because you should understand not everyone thinks the same and criticism isn't the same as empirical truth and can actually help you depending on the subject. Is not like people are actually insulting her and bullying her for no reason which I think then it would be right to call you out.
Besides the bootlicking remark is also true, it seems it happens more in porn where people will say everything to defend a girl despite exaggerating things and honestly I believe if you get closed to all those fancy remarks people throw at you and block the slightest bit of criticism then you're growing up to be a spoiled person which almost never turns out good.
I can't imagine ever saying any porn star is thin-skinned.
I once saw Victoria Paris performing live.

It's easy to take it personally since we're all part of the ADT community that she's condemning. But it's not.
She deals with a lot of assholes. On other sites, she can easily block them. If you don't like her Twitter feed, you can unfollow her.
^It must suck to have one's appearance being talked about on social media or the news or a forum but if that person makes a living from their looks then there's a very good chance that if they alter them for whatever reason then people will talk about it. I don't know if it makes them thin skinned or they are naturally combative when they feel they are being attacked but if this makes them lash out at their fans then no matter how justified they may be. The end result is likely going to be that they alienate a percentage of their fan base without actually gaining new ones.
Jesus Christ! The lock down is starting to fuck with people's sanity. The first part is pure delusional fanboying that stems from the idea that if you have deemed a woman worthy of your spilled seed they automatically must be worthy and god like, an utterly self serving belief, and the second part you simultaneously condemn women who do choose to maximise their physical appearance(sexist) AND tacitly condemn her if she chooses to do so in future.(hubris)

If you watch her scenes you can only conclude that she's very sexual and genuinely enjoys herself when she's being properly fucked. I don't think you can fake what she does on screen, she's genuinely very sexual and loves sex. That and the fact that she's drop dead gorgeous with an incredible natural body makes her one of the all time best IMO.

I completely agree. Are there any other girls like that in the industry right now? Angela White, Brooklyn Gray, Emily Willis, Gianna Dior, Valentina Nappi and Abella Danger spring to mind for me. My personal favourite pornstar is actually Abigail Mac, but even I have to admit that she's quite (and maybe this isn't the right word to use) theatrical. I don't even necessarily mean that she's faking. She just plays to the camera a lot and likes to talk. A LOT. Kenzie Taylor is quite similar to Abigail in that regard now that I think about it. Saying porn is a paid performance is merely stating the obvious. I think it's fairly easy to see when the performers are actually into it or not. There are definitely some that are only in it for the money, but there are others that are in it because they genuinely love sex. What separates the great performers from all the rest is their ability to let go and enjoy themselves on camera. The performers that are in it primarily for the money rarely make it that far and rarely last too long in this industry.

Anyway, I hope we can all agree that Keisha is definitely NOT someone in it for the money?! One of the most honest and genuine performers I've ever seen.
I hope that Keisha gets again lots of work for many different companies even if some people think maybe rightfully that ... (... not taking up this matter for the moment ...) .
