I think that people are sometime concentrating too much on video resolution, bitrate and what not when they should be concentrating on what is more important and that`s what is happening on screen. I think the expression "Can`t see the forest for the trees" may be appropriate to describe the posters rant on video quality. [Link]

Blu-rays (@1080p) typically have a bitrate of 15 mbit/s up to 30mbit/s (depends on the studio), with 40 being the allowed maximum. Comparison to same resolution netflix (with streaming and lower bitrate) is visible. Normal movies have the disadvantage that one wants to retain the film look, which means the film grain has to be compressed to, which is quite a feat to achive. Digitally filmed porn usually doesn't have any grain, so this can be overlooked. [Link]

You are not doing any comparisons. If you simply look at a 1080P video on any of the sites I mentioned and compare it to HardX 1080P videos, you will see the difference.
