Including me, the tally is now 3-0 who DISAGREE WITH PAT

I assume by the silence of the MODS and their allowing my post to stand the tally is really 4-0

If I'm wrong and the MODS agree with Pat, they should immediately delete the "Where Are They Now" Thread, which reveals lots of personal information about pornstars AFTER they retired. By leaving this thread up, the MODS are essentially approving what's revealed on it.

And Pat, if you really are so against personal information about retired pornstars being revealed, why have you posted on the "Where Are They Now?" thread? Your last post on this thread was in November, 2019.

https://forum.adultdvdtalk.com/where-are-they-now/1

Some examples of what's on this thread and has been there for years:

- Senior Member Joachim (2695 posts) reveals that Brianna Love married her agent and has two daughters
- Emily Davinci attended university in Canada and received a degree in chemistry
- Katin started a business breeding Bernese Mountain Dogs
- Jenteal married in 2000 and gave birth to twins (confirmed by IMDB). She lives in Manhattan Beach, L.A.
- Ashlyn Gere sells Real Estate in Texas
- Elizabeth Del Mar is a personal trainer in Southern California
- Alicyn Sterling is married and has moved on
- Naomi Russell is studying to be a nurse in California
- Tianna Lynn became a born again Christian and attends the Real Life Church
- Jamie Summers is married and looks well
- Lauren Phoenix is now married to a pastor
- Sydney Steele is a yoga instructor in L.A.
- Leah Gotti is in Atlanta with her young daughter
- Bibi Jones is married to a millionaire in Arizona, has 2 boys and another on the way
- Kristara Barrington became a vetinarian and helps run a family business
- Bridgette Monet is married, with 2 grown children and is now a grandmother

Pat, please tell me the difference between my post about Staci Carr being married with kids and all of these. Thanks.

Reviving a thread that was dead for 3 years is more annoying than the information that was contained in the post.

Going on a fact finding mission about all the other threads that may have "personal" info to prove a point seems to indicate someone needs to go outside and get some fresh air.

Dodge the question and toss out an ad hominem insult. Nice.

Just me, but I think it's worth 20 minutes of my time to answer an important question affecting all members of this forum (how much personal information about a starlet can we post?) in an intelligent way, supported by facts rather than just my opinion.

Sorry to annoy you, but I didn't get the memo that the Star Crossed Forum only applied to starlets who have recent posts in their threads. You are as bad as Pat in tossing out unwritten rules about what can and can't be posted.

That's one thing I really dislike about this forum. All the "Wannabe MODS" who think it's their duty to police the boards according to their own unwritten rules about what other members can write in their posts, when these "Wannabe MODS" should just trust the REAL MODS to do that.

Suggestion to REAL MODS: might be a good idea to create a new WRITTEN rule to rein in all the "Wannabe MODS" who are the cause of so much disharmony in this forum. Such a rule would really help eliminate a lot of friction in this forum that inevitably results when "Wannabe MODS" use their own preferences to attack the posts of other members rather than reference the Forum Etiquette rules, which are actually written down for all to see and understand.

Well, yeah, of course you don't because its not your life! And, I'm curious, why do you "appreciate" that she's happily married with kids? How does this effect your life? Are you the type of person that will approach a performer out in public when they're with other people to let them know how much you jerk off to them or ask them when they'll be doing double anal or working with Dredd?

Okay, but when did you become her PR person? If a performer wants to provide that information in the BTS or one of Capt. Jack's "interviews", that's their prerogative. Its not your job to do it for them.

So here's a question for you Spokesman. What are you going to do some Marine Officer, other Marine, or a Marine wife, just happened to read your post and realizes that they recognize Staci and decide they're going to approach her is some fashion? She rebuffs the approach and then the whole thing goes sideways in spectacular fashion? But I guess that'll be okay, because you're honoring her.

So your position is the starlet needs to approve (eg, reveal herself) all personal information about her that is made public? Sorry, the entertainment world doesn't work that way. Actresses, whether porn or mainstream, are public figures. Public scrutiny comes with their choice to be a celebrity. You act like my post was inappropriate. By what objective standard? My post is clearly not inappropriate based on the objective standard established by the MODS for this forum (I've posted proof of that). I've heard your opinion about my post, but if you can't back it up with something of substance it's just hot air.

Again, pornstars are public figures. And adults, too! They bear responsibility for their own actions. Please stop acting like porn actresses are little children. They are grown women who decided to do porn and have to live with the consequences of that decision. If Staci Carr is embarassed that she once was a pornstar, that's her problem, not mine or anyone else's.

Of course, it's way out of bounds to harrass, stalk, or even contact any celebrites, whether porn or mainstream. But discussing what they are doing in their private lives and what they did before they became celebrities (eg, Staci's time in the Marine Corp) is well within bounds, as any tabloid paper (ever heard of the Nationl Enquirer?) or tabloid TV show (ever heard of TMZ?), or internet fan group (ever heard of this forum?) or celebrity biography (ever heard of IMDB?) proves.

MOD here.

Don't post information about performers unless it's connected to their porn identity (for example, they've posted about it on their porn-branded social media page, or it's in a press release on a reputable porn website, etc.)

Otherwise, you should assume that if they wanted fans to know, they would have told us themselves. That's the general rule that should guide your decisions about which personal information to post or not post.

Thanks for this clarification. Three suggestions:

1. Update the Forum Etiquette Guidelines so members are informed about the limits of what they can post regarding this issue.

2. Thoroughly edit (or delete?) the "Where Are They Now" thread as it is filled with violations of the new, ex post facto rule.

3. Advise members who have an issue with the content of a post to contact a MOD via DM about it rather than attack the poster, who may simply be unaware that they are violating a Forum Etiquette rule or, in my case, violating a Forum Etiquette rule that did not yet exist in writing in the Forum Etiquette Guidelines. This rule would go a long way to lowering friction in the forum by preventing arguments before they have a chance to begin.

^ I'm just a mod and not the site owner, but I've passed your suggestion for #1 up the chain.

#2 I'll take a look at with other mods and admins.

#3 is already in the forum etiquette:

Forum Moderation
Moderators do not and cannot actively review all messages and posts made in the the forum. Most moderation is handled after-the-fact through a complaint process. If you see a post or a member behaving in a manner that violates these etiquette guidelines please use the "Message a Moderator" function near the top of every forum page. This will send a private message to the moderator(s) of that sub-forum and they will usually review your complaint when they next visit the forum.

But thanks for agreeing to my request, and thanks for the suggestions.

Thanks for listening and being pro-active. Really appreciate it. Your civility and professionalism is a breath of fresh air.

Sorry, I should have been more specific in Suggestion #3. I was aware of the Etiquette Rule you quote, but clearly it is not being enforced.

Pat362 is a Senior Member with 9,131 posts and by now should have the Etiquette Rules memorized, yet he/she completely ignored this particularly rule in my case. Rather than sending a DM to the MOD, he/she attacked me for "really low" behavior for what I wrote in my post.

Bumblaster, another Senior Member (with 3,641 posts) also failed to send you a DM and instead hurled a personal insult at me, that I needed "to go outside and get some fresh air."

A big cause of the friction and arguments in this forum comes from Senior Members, who arrogantly decide they will police the forum themselves. Feeling a sense of entitlement because of their long term membership, they have no problem completely ignoring the rule you cite.

In short, I believe peace and civility would be greatly enhanced in the forum if these rogue Senior Members ("Wannabe MODS" as I call them) were reined in. I'm not sure how that can be done, but my Suggestion #3 is that it should be done some how, some way.

^Maybe you and I come from different worlds but in mine. Discussing the personal life of a performer (especially the part about her children) is a major no no for me . To do so about a woman who has been gone from the industry for years is even more so. Frankly I don't know why you revived a dead thread to do what you did. What was the point of your post? My criticism wasn't directed toward you but at the subject of your post. Of course since it was your post then by extension I was sort of pointing a finger at you but I welcome your participation on this forum and I hope you feel comfortable about posting whatever you like.

Just so you understand where I stand on the subject. If this was a forum dedicated to mainstream actors and actresses then I would have the same opinion. For me there are two very distinct individuals when it comes to entertainers. The private one and the professional one. Unless the professional one is open about their private life then we shouldn't talk about that portion.

Pat, thank you for your thoughtful and respectful reply. And thank you for welcoming me. I appreciate it very much.

Is my post really that outlandish? This forum exists to celebrate the porn we love, especially our favorite starlets. My post was entirely consistent with why we're all here. I'm a big fan of Staci Carr and I wanted to share that with others on this forum. Why is that such a big deal? Why is it so crazy to revive an old thread if it's fun for me to do so? To each his own, right? Why not live and let live? Why do you feel the need to enforce your own preferences on all of us?

As far as Staci's children and info on her personal life, I had no sinister intent at all. You act like I'm out of line by mentioning her kids yet there is a very active thread on this board right now called "Pornstar Mothers?" asking members to provide the information that you are so worked up about me providing about Staci. Would it have been okay if I mentioned her kids on the "Pornstar Mothers?" thread? Why don't you protest against that thread and ask the MODS to take it down?

Also, if you had cared to look, you would have seen that the information I posted was, more or less, already on the Staci's thread. I refer you to the post by Makker on Dec. 26, 2015, which read: "As said before, Staci is a former US Marine herself, so it's no suprise she had a relationship with one of the many guys serving there. Imagine how many of them were going for this beauty ;-) . She got into porn after she had her 2 kids, proving you can be a working mum in porn and be very successful . I hope she will return to porn and delight us with her beauty and performances."

Why have the MODs chosen to edit my post, yet leave this one? It makes no sense. Given the existence of Makker's post, don't you think it's a little unfair to say I'm "pretty low" for posting essentially the same thing? I plead guilty to plagiarism, but I'm not the miscreant you make me out to be with that rebuke.

I ask these questions respectfully and in a spirit of good will.

Bumblaster, you prove my point about the arrogance of the Senior Members of this board, who hurl personal attacks at those they disagree with rather than engage in thoughtful discussion.

MODS please take note of Bumblaster's post. It's exactly the kind of mean-spirited behavior that needs to be reined in per my Suggestion #3.

I appreciate that she is happy. It doesn't always work out that way. I would never approach a pornstar and talk to them about porn unless we were at a convention. I live in the north of England so bumping into one on the street isn't very likely. But thank you for assuming the worst about me. I don't mind DA but would never demand it of anyone. I don't have much preference for male performers. Dredd is a cool dude, but I don't think I've mentioned him in any of my posts, so I don't know why you mentioned that. It doesn't affect me personally, but I didn't realise it was so awful to be happy for someone else.

Always feet n ass. In that order.

What is everyone's favorite scene of hers? Mine has to be "Hot Yoga" on HardX. Her dirty talk in this scene is insane!

My two fav Staci scenes:

- Brazzers "Rating Staci" ... Keiran Lee gives her a huge facial and she takes it well
- MOFOs "Hot Blondes Twerk Tape" ... I usually hate POV-style vids, but this one is fantastic. Staci does a great prone bone.

So I get that people seem a little upset that this thread got revived but she does have an onlyfans right now. Her main content is mostly non nude but she has paid nude content in DMs. Had a b/g scene (6 mins amature stuff rly) for like $20. So she is still creating some content in case people are interested. You can just google and find it, its literally stacicarr
