I don't know if she's actually retired or not, but the extra weight might have made that decision for her. She's a beautiful girl and one of the best performers I've ever seen, but she has the type of body that is incredibly difficult to maintain without a super serious diet and exercise regimen.
^You can see it a bit in the last scene she did for Brazzers. We're not talking major weight gain by any means, but she definitely looks different compared to earlier Peta. It could be as little as ten pounds. What I'm saying though is that with her body type, it's a really thin line from super-hot elite porn girl/hardbody goddess to all of a sudden your phone stops ringing. The huge fake tits don't help either. Carrying those dumbbells on your chest will make your body want to build muscle and gain weight. It's an adaptation process. Our bodies are vicious traitors, often despite our best efforts. Also, she's been shot out a little bit, especially with Brazzers. She has 68 scenes for them and iafd has her at 113 total. Obviously, girls have shot a lot more scenes, but if the demand isn't there as much as it once was, and she knows she needs to do some work to get her body back to that peak level, and she's got something else going on in her life that she's happy with, then all of that together may mean that a return just isn't super likely.

I've been on this board for a while now, as you can see from the "10/02" below my name. The patterns tend to repeat themselves. Girls come into the industry and every now and again one (like Peta) burns super bright for some period of time, until the demand kind of eases off (and there can be different reasons for this), and then, you know, someone has to make a choice about what she wants to do with her life.
