I'd really like to have the possibility to search for titles which are exclusive to one store and not available anywhere else.
Example: Sometimes I find a movie which is only available at one store (which most of the time is a store I haven't ordered from yet). When I decide to try that store and order that title I'd like to know which other titles are exclusive to that store, so I can add some of these movies to the order.
That's only one situation where I would have liked to have such a searching-possibility.

spesedy - sorry for no reply. can you say what the situation is where you'd use the feature - that would help to figure out how to structure it. often only one store will have a title because the others just haven't posted it yet - in that case it's exclusive to one store for hours or only a day or two.
I wasn't thinking about companies limiting all their sales to one store. My point is rather that there are a few items who happen to be available only at one store because no other carry them. For example I'm sure there are quite some Japanese titles available at XOnAir which aren't available elsewhere. Browsing around I've come across quite a few titles which were only available at one store. For example some DVD called 'New Blood' is only available at DVDEmpire. The naked truth from FHV is only available at Gamelink. Especially many 'specialty' dvds or dvds from small studios are only available at certain stores. Just try a studio search on ADT for the not so well known studios.
@Steph:
I've given one example for usage in my first post of this thread :
For example if there's one title I really like to get and it's only available at a store where I've never ordered before, or maybe where the shipping costs are higher than of most other stores, then I'd like to find out if there are other dvds I like which are also only available at that store so I can bundle the order instead of finding another dvd which is only available there after having placed my order.
Wow... What a sentence !
Well... Don't know if that's understandable. There were even more situations I would have had a use for such a feature, unfortunately I can't remember them right now
This is something I can add to the advanced search page. It will take me about 4 - 5 hours to incorporate into the existing search logic. I don't think I can get to it until mid February.
Spesedy - Drew & Steph have a long list of things & features they are working on, which have to take precedence over this one. I don't see this as being very useful for the majority, but possibly when everything is complete. In other words - take a number & get in line ;)
I have to admit it might not be that useful for Americans since you don't really have to worry if you buy from one store or another. Shipping costs are nearly the same and all the shops can reliably ship to anywhere in the US, but I think it's a quite useful feature for people from other countries where it's relevant if they pay $12 for a shipment or $30 or if the store can reliably ship to the UK or to Germany.
For example : When there's a shipping price of $30 for one order which can contain 1-4 dvds, then I'll try to order 4 dvds at once at that store to keep the shipping costs relatively low. Now before I choose some dvds which are also available elsewhere - maybe even cheaper - I'd prefer to order other dvds which are only available there, so I save money and don't have to order there again so quickly.
@Steph & Drew:
Don't worry... Nobody is expecting every feature to be finished tomorrow As long as you're thinking about it or have it somewhere on some list I'm fine. It was just a suggestion.
I'm excited which other new features are going to be added to the database
That's also a great idea. Since I'm from Germany I'm not sure how much that affects me, but I guess most stores which don't ship to the UK don't ship to Germany either. I'm not sure though. But since I've already seen a lot people from the UK on the forum this is certainly a good idea.
