If they are I do not want to get them. Is there any way of telling ? IAFD say they do not have time to list many compilation movies. [Link]

The IAFD does list many compilations, they just state it is not a priority in listing titles. The marketing of compilations has exploded in recent years. What the studios like to do is just repackage the same stuff under a different title to crank out more DVDs. I even see studios sharing their content with other studios. There are a number of studios that focus on compilations such as Totally Tasteless, Filmco and Leisure Time. If there are a lot of scenes listed on a single title, it is more often a compilation. Click to expand This is the best clue. Usually there are 5 or 6 scenes max per DVD, but a compilation will have 8 or more scenes. Also you'll commonly find "too good to be true" combinations on comps. Such as 4 superstars on the same disc, when ordinarily there are only 1 or 2 superstars per dvd. [Link]
