I see that Brad Hart is quitting the industry citing, amongst other things, the fact that he's tired of taking Viagra every day just to perform. Now, by my reckoning Hart is 28 - so still very young. Here's my question: how commonplace is chronic Viagra use in the industry? Why can't young guys stay hard naturally, or can most achieve this and Viagra use is not that common amongst younger performers?
^While porn guys may appear to be super human on video. They are in fact just your average guy that has a larger than standard penis but that's about it and therefore getting a hard-on on a regular basis isn't the problem so much as they have to get one pretty much every few days weeks after weeks after weeks. Males can't do that without the help of drugs and that means Viagra, one of it's competitors or injecting drugs directly in the penis.
And it's not just staying hard, it's staying hard for at a bare minimum like 30 minutes with very little in the way of breaks, and you have to do this on command no matter how you're feeling personally at the moment. From what I've read about the subject, a lot of sets have it around as backup, and once a guy fails on set for the first time, it can start to be a psychological thing where they start depending on it more and more afterwards for fear of it happening again.
Actually, I would think they use Cialis more than Viagra. One Cialis is good for 36 hours while Viagra has only a four hour window. Cialis really works well, although I find that after it wears off it gives me a little bit of a headache.
I don't know anything about this "injection" stuff. What is that? What is the drug and how long does that last? Sticking a needle in my dick is not something I find to sound appealing. I mean, fuck, that sounds crazy to me! I've heard enough about junkies to know that veins collapse over time, and sticking needles into sensitive areas is not a good thing.
I sometimes wonder about guys like Mike Adriano. I've taken Viagra and Cialis for years and I know just because you take it, it doesn't mean you are rock hard no matter what. I've never seen Mike even come close to losing his hard-on. He must be doing this injection stuff, because he is always rock fucking solid, almost to the point that it looks like his dick is about to explode it is so hard. That stuff can't be healthy. I sometimes wonder what his dick must be like when it isn't hard or what that stuff will do to him when he is older. It can't be good......However, no doubt, the guy has the best job in the world. There is an injectible called Caverject. Its intention was really for people who had lower body paralysis and ED medications would do no good. It gets you hard no matter what, nothing can stop it. So, as far this relates to porn, you have to be turned on for Viagra, Cialis, etc to work .It is very difficult to keep an erection with Viagra if you are completely zoned out, miserable, not turned on , etc.
So we all think, wow, we would have no issues standing with ROmi Rain or someone. But imaging a porn guy; you fuck porn girls day after day, year after year.. some you love some you down right dislike; you deal with the crew, drama, stops and starts, smells, lights, conditions, etc... i could go on...... some come to a point where the injection keeps them working even if their brain can not.
some guys, which is quite common with the Legal Porno talent, have silicone put in their dicks so they get bigger and fatter but also essentially look erect all the time. Keeps them working but you are not really having pleasure
I would guess most porn guys just use viagra and the injections are really for the guys that are burned out, or have had enough, or are more into guys in their personal time. Personal choice and doing what it takes to work.
It would be nearly impossible in the gonzo world of porn to not use viagra. Dudes back in the 80s and 90s shot a lot of scenes where there was a lot of making out, kissing, and its easier to get turned on than if you are dick rubbing with 9 other guys who are splooging and spitting all over the place, or you are expected to perform a 60 minute scene which takes 2 hours to film versus a 20 minute deal in a feature back in the day.
I was curious about your claim that Cialis is good for 36 hours so I read a little about it and while you can take a Cialis pill that is good for about 36 hours. They seem to recommend that men take a smaller dose daily instead. In any case the side effects of those ED drugs while they are mild. I can understand why some male performers would be reticent to take them to perform as often as they do knowing that runny nose, headaches, dizziness, nausea, upset stomach, indigestion, vision change, rash, back pain, pain in limbs, muscle ache and sore throat are things they may have to deal with.

Many female actress have complained about male talent injecting themselves and hurting the female talent. Brett Rossi tweeted about it a while back. Rico Strong was hospitalized due to excessive use of caver-jet.
According Lena Paul, in her second appearance on Holly Randall's podcast, both viagra and the injections will soon be a thing of the past. ^True but then I don't think knowing all these things prior t doing porn would be such a detractor. There aren't that many legal jobs that require no schooling and can earn you upwards of 500$ for just a few hours of work. Money is a powerful enticer.
^Well the appeal is banging all these hot chicks. But they all know that they would never be able to perform in front of all those people and camera's. And I bet most newcomers try their first scene and find out how difficult it is and end up feeling it was a horrible experience and won't come back. Probably why porn barely ever gets new male talent and sticks with the regulars.

It could be all natural if a is guy is 20 to 30-ish and has strong PC muscles and doesn't cum for a few days leading up to it. Most of JAV porn is natural for guys
^I don't know the number of male performers who work on a regular basis in JAV porn but the number of active male talent in the US porn industry is tiny so most guys work multiple times a week and these guys both want and need to work as often as possible because they make half as much as their female counterpart.
Fucking every couple of days for an healthy young man should be okay but we aren't talking about real life. We are talking about porn where those same young men have to fuck for hours on end multiple times each week month after month after month so that their bodies start to run down.

^ In JAV there's about 30 - 70 male talents to 6000 - 10000 female talents.
The most busiest male actor is 35 and filmed 7500 movies already and films up to 21 scenes a week, but doesn't use any Viagra.
The average male talent fee per scene is 1000 yen which is about 10 dollars for new talent.

Doesn't Ramon have the ballon inserted into his dick? I could've sworn he posted on twitter last year of him getting surgery for it. Steve Holmes and the other older guys have to be using something chemical wise to help them stay hard. ^Oh it certainly does, and perhaps more importantly it helps recover more quickly after long tough days of shooting so these guys can keep getting booked over and over again. I do say that there is no longer big buffed up juiceheads in porn like before though.
