Most things are different there, including word usage. 503 Posts 12/06 | If you're looking for free I'd do a search on either CNET or Tucows for an audio file editor/converter depending on your source (format) of the audio file that you want to 'snip' a section from to use as a ring tone. Last time I looked there were quite a few. It's probably one of the most common freeware/shareware application on those sites. Once you have the audio file edited the way you want it and saved as an MP3 file, probably a maximum of 30 seconds play time, then send it to your cell phone attached to an e-mail. Most late model cell phones have a function that allows you to select an MP3 file for a ring tone. |
