I have mp3 files downloaded to my hard drive, but can't get them to play using Windows Media player. On my old XP computer, Windows Media Player played them fine. Anyone know how to get it to work in Vista or know another good computer program other than Media Player to play them?

After just trying to play them in VLC media player and Nero without luck, I found that these files must have been corrupt. I just downloaded some new files and these played. Thanks for responding. I should have thought about corrupted files before making my post. It was my first try at playing mp3 with my new computer, so I thought it was the OS.

It's wether you haven't the proper codecs already installed. You will have the same problem in the future.
