I'm wondering if part of the reason for so many young women doing mainstream porn and sites like OF is because we've become obsessed with fame. Well, we've probably always been obsessed with fame but the advent of the internet and social media in particular was like rolling in a nuclear bomb. Maybe I'm also wrong about this, but it does seem that this is more an issue with younger people, and most likely because they grew up with the internet and social media, but I wonder if it isn't a case of FOMO, or "I want a piece of that." "Influencers" and people with YouTube channels who just film themselves doing stupid stuff get fame and (sometimes) fortune. Maybe some of that bleeds over into porn. Maybe some young women see porn as a way to get their "share" of fame. As Oscar Wilde said, "The only thing in life worse than being talked about is not being talked about." As for why some of these young women do the sex acts they do (presuming that there is even a shred of accuracy to my hypothesis) is that's because it's the work available. I've been collecting porn for decades and there has been a decided shift to more extreme stuff for at least the past 20 years. Maybe a model who wants to make sweet, sweet love in missionary position with her boyfriend can get a few OF subscribers, but a lot of viewers want more extreme. Hell, I'll admit to being a big fan of anal sex scenes and I'll go out of my way to collect a model's first. Once the owner was caught, his site was taken down. And he was punished. Compare this to sometime of the past, I highly doubt, girls would come out as much, or such a critical offense would be so active. One reason is availability of internet now v/s earlier. Anything that can go online, spreads like wildfire. I have come across some stories from Behind the scenes of porn earlier. It used to be way more brutal than it is now.
