I tried water but that doesn't take away the fingerprints. Don't ask me how fingerprints got on there. I don't know.

neitzsche, try this. I use this and it's works phenomenally. In fact, about 6 months ago I went to buy one for a neighbor that reimbursed me later. The in-store price was a dollar more than the price indicated at the time on their website. I had one of the employees verify it by checking the site and was promptly given the lower price. I then knew that this meant a price increase was in order and bought myself another bottle.
If this can't fix your problem it's a good chance nothing will. BTW, make sure you use a non-scratch cloth/wipe. I guess you can buy the wipes that Maxell has or use the type of cloth used for cleaning reading glasses.
There is also a review on the product that you can read. Maybe I shouldn't let the cat out of the bag, but I'm the author of the review.

P.S. If you decide to try it and it doesn't perform as I specified, at least you know where to vent your anger toward the reviewer!

treat the screen like you would a pair of glasses but use less pressure when wiping.
Don't use tap water, tissue or a paper towel. They can contain minerals or fibres that can scratch plastic. Try lens cleaner and a lens cloth or you can use Endust for Electronics if you can find it.
