Then, I use the Windows File Explorer property tag feature to label the relevant scene details (Lesbian, Gangbang, DP, Asian, IR, etc., etc., I have so many tags...lol). Which sucks since I have a lot of .avi and .mkv files that can't utilize the tag feature. So the labels get added directly to the file name.

It's possible to do that with the DVD VOB files using my video editing software (mpeg video wizard) by creating a 13 second preview at the beginning of each scene of the particular shot I'm looking for, Windows Media Player will capture a thumbnail at about the 5 or 6 second mark, it's kind of a complex procedure but so far it's the best method I have.

With MP4's on the other hand I make a screen grab of that money shot so to speak and place that in a sub folder like this example from Lez Cuties

Using these screen grabs from the sub folder I can easily recognize which scene perks my interest that moment, copy and paste the title then return to the main video folder and paste that in the search bar and there it is, it's a lot of work creating all these film grabs but in the end it's all worth it, it's also really helpful when the web site provides the model names and title information with the download, some sites don't like the mfr's at Sexy Hub!

The Sexy Hub megasite doesn't provide model name and title information with each video downloaded, if you have a folder with 500 mp4's and there's some generic title your totally lost trying to find whatever model in whatever movie your looking for, and I complained to them about this whilst a member there!

You have to add the title and model names yourself, it's a tremendous amount of work but well worth it like I said, I add date and sometimes duration to the titles also as here with girlfriendsxxx subsite of sexyhub

Now I can really get a good idea what I'm looking for, what model and so forth, here's without the screen grabs

here you can see most of the thumbnails are generic, you don't have any idea what movie those are, and I wrote the titles, SexyHub is really lazy with that, unless they changed recently, my last membership there was 2019.

Another site which doesn't provide model or title info is Adult Prime who took over Club Sweethearts formally known as Club Seventeen, and a host of other sites, you have to add that information yourself or you will be completely lost attempting to locate a particular model or video, really lazy on their part for not adding the info in the download which I've complained about!

As you can see here there's no way to determine which movie or model your looking for without the proper information in the title with these generic thumbnails, I added that information myself!

It's basicly all unsorted, only my all time favourites have a specific searchword in the file name, so I can find them easily.

I don't mind the unsorted state as I usually fap with the windows diashow in random mode anyway. Keeps the collection from going stale.

I also have about 5000 unsorted porn videos/scenes but I barely watch them, and about a quarter of them i've downloaded but I have never seen. I prefer pics.

Funny thing is, despite having access to all the porn in the world, what I mostly wank to are innocent screenshots of close-up face of Youtube moms. LOL

I still use an application called Pornspective v2 which handles all kinds of ways to sort your collection and also uses AI to help tag your content which has saved hours for me.

Inside PERFORMERS I have subfolders, each with a name, for example "KARLIE MONTANA". Inside of that I will have miscellaneous stuff from her like Custom Video, etc that doesn't fit neatly in PRODUCERS.
If it's GG or doesn't fit neatly inside anything. I will leave it in PERFORMERS or put it inside a subfolder called "_MULTIPLES", the underscore "_" is there to move it to the top above "A".

Inside PRODUCERS, I have subfolders, each with a name, for example "BANGBROS". Inside of that I will have subsubfolders for each model like "KARLIE MONTANA BANGBROS". Inside of that I will have all her content from that particular Producer. For GG or something else, put it in the main subfolder, your preferred Performer subsubfolder or create a special subsubfolder.
The reason i have subsubfolders with both the Performer and Producer name inside is because before, I would search "X" Performer and get results of a bunch of folders "X", "X", "X"... all the same and wouldn;t know which was which. Now for different "Yn" producers, if I search the full database for a model "X", I get "X Y1", "X Y2", "X Y3" ... and it makes it easy to see which PRODUCERS/studios I have for a particular PERFORMER.

Wherever I need, I drop txt files if I need to write myself a note about whats missing , what's a highlight, or where to go for something similar or whatever.

For photosets, I make sure to store them in individual zip files (usually how they are downloaded anyways) and then unzip them when I pull them from storage and want to enjoy them.
Keeping each image as a separate file will vastly slow down your systems.

I keep everything backed up to the cloud, so i can be on the move and pull something whenever i want.
