this is somehting I have always wondered. I watched Family business and he did some interviews on the show to hire people but how do you get an interview with someone like that?
It's easy if you are an attractive female. Contact some producers or directors by phone, e-mail and/or show up in person someplace where you can be discovered.
Girls come from all the obvious places. Straight outta high school; from some shitty job; from stripclubs; from some crappy marriage. I also hear girls say they dreamt of being a porn star ever since they were young too.
The willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed, being open minded enough to act on suggestion. Dedication above all other pursuits. Don't mind being a blank slate anxious to be filled in. Listen and learn as opposed to talking and telling. Observe and absorbe it's all a learning process. Accept that mistakes will be made, be humble not defensive, when thay do happen. Be nice, it's nice to be nice to the nice. What the fuck do I know, sounded good at the time. I'd say the above suggestions will start you in the right direction.
This is very ebcourageing to hear! Does it mean more and more American girls watch porn and therefore take being part of such film as a positive role model?
I don't think that so many young girls feel that porn stars are positive role models per se, but I have no doubt that more and more American girls are growing up watching soft-core and hardcore porn on tv, cable tv, on DVD, on the internet and other places, and that might influence them to try it.
If you are male I advise you to NOT persue a career in porn. This industry is super hard on male talent and having sex in porn is nothing like a GFE. (Girl Friend Experience)
But if you are determined to try. Than I recomend you buy a 3 chip camera, learn some web design skills and video editing skills and then round up about 5 thousand dollars.
After that, do it all yourself. At the end of the day you will still have your pecker sucked and fucked without the added drama.

I wasnt actually asking becasue I want to be a porn star...well wait, ok Im not asking becasue I think I could be a pornstar, of course I want to be one, but it is just soemthing I have always wondered. Like Outkastfan said, there is this image of a girl moving away from home determined to make it and doing porn cause she sucks at everything and you can get paid in porn to suck....so the actualy discovery process has always interested me.
