I notice that porn performers tend to copy one another. I'm not sure why. My only guess is that they watch porn themselves and copy what they see. I don't have a lot of insight, however and it would be interesting to hear from the performers themselves. Some performers, like Rocco, have their own style. I've heard people complain that Rocco is too repetitive but I really like his style so it doesn't bother me at all. Max Hardcore definitely has a style all his own but he obviously doesn't appeal to everyone.
The more successful performers tend to at least have some personality to their performances. Mark Ashley is one, I think, who stands out. If only for the fact that he puts some effort into actually trying to get the girl off. He'll rub her clit while he's fucking her. He'll go down on her and give her clit a good tongue lashing. He also has some other idiosyncrasies that make his performances more interesting than the typical, generic stud. Another is Eric Everhard. Some don't like him but I find that he always seems to try and pleasure the girl as well as himself. Of course, if she doesn't like his brand of fucking, I guess it's kind of pointless. He fucks hard. Some girls like it and some don't. But at least it's well known that's the way he fucks.
Manuel Ferrara is another. I don't much care for him as a director. I think he's much better as a performer under a good director. It's not that he's a bad director, either. His directorial style just isn't my thing. You might like it.
