2015-2017 I had moved on from the girls above and the new stars that interested me were ones like Riley Reid, Ariana Marie, Elsa Jean, Gina Valentina, Kimmy Granger, Sydney Cole, Naomi Woods. I think that's where my interest in IR started, though was not yet interested in anal as I still didn't really get it yet. Pre-augmentation Demi Sutra and Kira Noir helped me get into black girls.

2018-2021 I started my porn collection. Emily Willis and Vina Sky's careers felt like a fever dream for me while they were active - I would check every day for new scenes of theirs. I finally came to the point where I found anal to be hot, which was an interesting development. I'd credit my obsession with them to that. 2022-2024 I started refining the collection, categorizing based on perceived quality. Vanna and Gianna ruled these years but I still found myself watching mostly Emily and Vina. I wouldn't say that my preferences changed much around this time, though found I prefer slutty to romantic and I did start to discriminate based on dicks, I guess. Before I start with this I have to say I have zero interest in dudes, so this development had me scratching my head a bit. Some male stars who never bothered me before became near unwatchable because I find their dicks kinda repulsive and it turns me off to watch girls I fantasize about mess with them - these include Damon Dice, Ramon Nomar, Manuel Ferrara, and more mostly uncut white performers. I think it's an aesthetics thing, because I also started to find some male performers member's more aesthetically pleasing - some examples being Logan Long, Scott Nails, Kyle Mason, Oliver Flynn, Jax Slayher, Rob Piper, etc. I guess my brain is saying "I know she's having fun with that" instead of "why does she want that", but it's still weird as hell to me and I try not to think about it too much lol.

2025-on I got Stash Organizer running with 9tb organized, and a Fleshlight collection of about 13 sleeves. If you're on the fence about those don't waste another day. For 2 months I've been in absolute disbelief that I settled without for so long. My favorites are both of Emily's - not just because it's her, both textures are simply incredible. Ryan Reid became a big favorite around the start of 2025 with her physical transformation.

I think I've always cared about the female star the most, since the beginning. Early on some of the women I was into would be considered mature compared to my age at the time, though that quickly phased out. I could also mostly deal with fake boobs early on but now I can't stand them (unless they're Elsa's). Was never into plus size or augmented stars, still personally don't understand the appeal but that's probably because I'm a 130lb stick man. To each their own. There are some things that evolved, but it's more that porn changed than me changing my interests. The switch from plot-based movies to gonzo was something that I happily evolved with. Even when porn was plot based I'd fast-forward through 15 minutes of dialogue to get to the sex. I think most people did. When gonzo came along, I was all in. I didn't buy porn to see people act out a failing marriage where both partners were getting some on the side. I wanted to see the sex.

There have been a few other side trips too, and maybe some of these count as a change. BDSM porn wasn't available much prior to the internet, and it certainly wasn't available where I lived, thanks to obscenity laws. But as internet porn grew, I dabbled in some BDSM stuff, subscribing to Kink.com and its sub-sites many times. But while I still have those scenes in my collection and won't delete them, I rarely watch them now. I had a couple of years where BDSM interested me, and now it doesn't. But even then, my core tastes didn't change. Even with Kink scenes, I was primarily interested in those featuring younger petite models and anal sex.

Other things haven't changed either. I was never into G/G scenes and I'm still not. I rarely download those and only if they are part of a larger network and feature models whose scenes I collect. I've never signed up for a purely lesbian site.

So for me, I think that my core tastes haven't changed over 40+ years of collecting, though there have been some side roads I've travelled down.

I've actually become nostalgic for magazines - there was a certain suspense and expectant excitement as you turned the pages of a pictorial that you just don't get from videos (whether gonzo or 'plot-driven'), in which everything is always so predictable and formulaic.

*In regards to recycling, within the last week or so Mile High Extreme has released My Crazy Family 2 featuring, among others, the classic scene between Allie Haze and Dirty Harry, but which was originally from Relax He's My Stepdad 1 produced in (ahem) 2009! When I search the VOD site I subscribe to (using Dirty Harry and Allie Haze as the search parameters) there are 8 videos that feature this scene - and that doesn't include this latest Mile High Extreme release (because Dirty Harry's name isn't among the performers listed). I used to be rabidly anti-tattoo. As they have proliferated, however, I've learned to be less selective. Sometimes, the disqualifier will be a big tatt around the ab; sometimes not, I don't have many Chastity Lynn scenes, but I have a lot of Melanie Scott's. Go figure. Big leg tattoos are a turn-off, but I love Brynn Jay. Generally, I guess, the more natural beauty (or appeal, I guess) she has that outweighs the adverse perception of the tatt(s), the more I can disregard them.

But I do get turned off by a woman who alters her appearance after she enters porn. My reaction is, "Aww, now why'd you have to go and do that?" She tampered with perfection and lost me as a fan.

The upside is that such disfigurations give me criteria to help me decide who enters the collection and who doesn't, and who stays and who goes.
