I'm not saying that there aren't some companies that make multi-millions a year - Vivid being one - but most are smaller companies making a million or two each, or even less. Add to that the fact that most production companies (like most new businesses mainstream or adult) will lose money for the first two years? Then you have the ones tht never even get off the ground. Let's face facts - it might sound like fun to own a porn company. You might think that you'll make a million on one movie. But the odd are that you are going to lose money for a while, and then you aren't going to be pulling in multi-millions with so many slices of the same porn pie sharing the consumers. [Link] |
