I guess it's fairly common now, but how many male stars use Viagra? I think it's kind of cheating and shouldn't be allowed in a way since I think the true male stars are those who get naturally turned on by the woman like they did in the old days.

I like it when I see a scene where the guy isn't already hard at the beginning but gets harder as the scene goes on as he responds to natural stimulation rather than already being hard to begin with. I saw Chris Cannon do this a couple times and I was impressed.

viagra doesnt make you instantly stiff, you can have natural stimulation & then get erect. same thing with that other penis pill that i forgot the name of.

i bet %95 of males stars use some sort of penis pill.

Anyone know which guys in the industry don't use it? I'd be impressed to find out which ones.

Rocco for sure does not use it 100% guaranty ! !
Jean Yves Le castel as far as I remember does not use it either.

Beside the tablets some performers however they are very young uses papaverinum injections and even both with VIAGRA !

I shot a guy in Budapest who injected 8 ampules of papaverinum in less than 30 min !
Crazy but true !

My "generation" didn't use any VIAGRA for a simple reason..
there was no VIAGRA,

Director Kelly Holland estimated that 70% used it. Jewel DeNyle suggested that it was 98%. The truth probably lays somewhere between, but I'd guess it would lean more towards Jewel's number. As Kelly said, it just makes it easier. I think with what the men are expected to do, it would be almost impossible without any help. Erections on demand. Open positions. High flying acrobatic moves. Stop and starts for a myriad of reasons, including the ridiculous taking of action stills prior to filming the money shot. If I was a director, there'd be a bowl of little blue pills on set at all times, right alongside the industrial strength lube.

I hate it when the guys have to take their cocks out to stroke it, it's much more fun with non stop penetration..

Practically every male performer.

It's 'democratised' the industry.

I don't think Erik Everhard and Manuel Ferrara take pills, I don't think they need to. But as long as many male performers only get better on pills, I don't see a problem with it, but it's still not real... so maybe I do have a slight problem with it...

I don't think many male performers would admit to using it. Of course I could be wrong, but it might come off bad; fans would think, "These guys need help getting it up for these chicks? What's their problem?"

I remember seeing an old Extreme film directed by Lizzy Borden, it was a regular porn as far as action, but BTS footage was edited into the film, such as Lizzy directing a girl who was deaf by writing the directons on posterboard.

Anyway…they're on set and Michael Stefano is walking around, and the cameraman walks up and starts talking to him, and blah, blah, blah cameraman asks Stefano what he's smiling about, and what he's got in his hand. Stefano opens up his hand and inside is a little blue pill, which happened to be a Viagra. I didn't care, but he was whispering and being a little secretive about it, kind of like he didn't want others on the set to know.

Also, I don't know the guy's name but you'd know him by his tattoo, which is a bandoleer of bullets on his thigh. I've seen him in a few scenes and only his face and neck are extremely bright red, which is a side effect of Viagra.

That's good of these guys - I'll be more likley to watch their videos now that I know that.

If guys could do it in the old days without Viagra and if some still can, then there's no reason why the others shouldn't!

Has anyone ever seen John Strong without a fully erect penis? I'm sure that guy sprinkles Viagra on his Cheerios.

I think it's fine for the guys to use it if they want to. I'd be afraid that soon it will be required so as to keep on schedule.

How do the girls feel about the "stiffy pills"? Do guys pound to hard when they are on them?

I haven't tried it but now im 40 and thinking about it. Im afraid that once I start I will need it. Anyone run into that yet?

There are also cardiac concerns about it. I know it constricts blood vessels and if you have a blockage somewhere you run the risk of a heart attack or stroke.

But i'd love the 4 hour hard-on. So would the wife i think...

4 hour hard ons aren't so much fun when your cock feels like someone replaced it with a dildo. Viagra helps with the wood, but it also makes things kinda numb down there.

I guess that accounts for the hard time most guys have in porn w/ finishing off... once you get to a certain point, it seems like a lot of work letting go of that load.

thats an unfair statement. its simply supply & demand.

in the old days, the demand was low so the handful of male stars that were talented to do on-spot erections & pop shots were enough to take care of the supply.

these days there are probably just as many male performers (or more) that can do on-spot erections & pop shots but now the porn demand is massive.

the handful of old-time performers could not even blink at being able to fill todays porn demand. there has to be lots of other males involved that arent talented but are quite willing to fuck on film - enter viagra.

I started in 1994 at age 54 and had been in hundreds of sex scenes before the V-pill hit the drug stores. A few years after it's availability, my primary care physician of many years refused to prescribe it for me after he asked me an extensive bunch of questions about whether or not I wake up with erections, do I get them from watching TV, porn, strippers, etc, etc.

During the shooting of Sex Survivor 2000, I succumbed to using two pills that I got a hold of over the course of that 7-day extremely arduous shoot.

When I turned 65, I cited my normal practice of shooting two back-to-back sex scenes for my Dave Cummings Production shoots and got my physician to (finally--he was extremely conservative about allowing me to take any kind of meds) give me a prescription of 60 of them--that was on Mar 13, 2005, and I'd guess that there are still 25-28 pills in that bottle. I use them only sparingly. Candidly, they don't make a huge difference for me, but.....! Again, candidly, if they DID indeed make it worthwhile for me to take them, I'd probably use the V-pill more often, especially for on-camera. I'm 67 now.

Ironically, for groupie girls and in a swinging environment, I never need or wish that I had access to a v-pill ---however, performing in front of a camera is not as easy as many think it is!! I have no problem with performers using the pill, especially if they haven't gotten to the point that constant using of pills affects their ability to do TIMELY "money shots" without taking up the time of the crew and other performers waiting for them to finish.

Because I take another nightly prescription for an enlarged prostate (approx 50% of men over 50 have this condition, one that interrupts sleeping and makes guys get up to urinate during the night---I hate it when I "polevault" out of bed and have to stand there waiting for my erection to go down enough for me to finally pee!), I can't take the other V-type pills lest I chance a severe blood pressure drop). And, I am too much of a wuss to even think about injecting anything, especially a needle, into my penis--YUK!!!

I sense that there is a LOT of usage by performers--I only hope that down the road some medical reseach study won't show increased medical problems for the performers who might be using them with more frequency than the general public!

How this posting for being "up front--and personal"!!!:-))

Dave Cummings,

thanks for being so straight forward. I think is really good to talk about this stuff becouse as you said your doctor had concerns about you using V and there are real reasons for that concern. Even younger guys can have complication that can be devistating. I still am intrested in trying it but the more I hear the more careful I am being.

Of course male performers are trying to hide the use of pills. I think it is a lot more common than people in her seem to think. They should start with drug tests on the set so we can find out who are real and who are not.

Give it a week or two and we'll start seeing DVD's released that guarantee all male talent is 100% Viagra/Cialis/etc free....complete with AIM certification enclosed in the liner notes.

98% of male talent these days use the little blue pill why do you think you see so many new male performers these days?? If these guys had to go all natural they wouldn't have a career and you'd see a lot less guys getting in. I could careless it makes my job easier not having to wait for the guy to get it up. Girls use lube guys use Viagra fair is fair. But I will be interested to see if one day someone dies while on set of an overdose of this stuff as I know some guys who perform everyday use it and that cannot be good.
