I was quite surprised to learn that many of the stars I like have left the buisness. When you browse for porn you easily get the impression that there is a huge amount of pornstars. But from what I can tell from this site there isnt as many as I thought. At least not active ones. Anyone have a rough idea of how many people works with porn today? Im manily interested in the girls but if you have any numbers including male actors and people in other ways related then that be nice aswell. EDIT: In the US of course.

BUT if you include girls making films that appear on websites only. The there must be thousands! There's hundreds and hundreds of sites on the net. Many producing (low budget) exclusive material.
