Typical payment to a "top" is about $2000~2500 for the shoot (in other words, about $1000 per day). A "bottom" usually gets about 25% more. A big-name "star" might get as much as double the typical fee.
Stories about porn stars being paid $50,000 or more for a single video are just that: stories. It doesn't happen.
There are a few studios which do not fit the typical mold. Among them is Kristen Bjorn's Sarava Productions. (Others are Titan Media, Lucas Kazan Productions, Bel Ami - a few more.) Kristen usually schedules 3 to 4 days for a single scene in one of his videos (in which an actor might ejaculate as many as 3 to 5 times). He pays his stars about the same as other studios - $2000 to $3000 per shoot with "bottoms" getting slightly more; but because his total shooting schedule is much longer - often 20 to 25 days (spread out over several months) for an entire video - he ends up spending a lot more money on actors in his videos.
