How much do you think it would cost a newbie to do a decent porn film? For the stars, do the costs go by hour or by act asked of them? Any tips or suggestions?
To do everything including replication a typical budget is around $12,000 to $15,000. $25,000 is for a top grade gonzo movie with makeup artist and the best locations.
You can do a movie for as little as $8,000 but its going to be bottom end girls shot in a hotel room or your apartment.

You and everyone else. Too many people aspire to be the next hot topic in porn, and eventually saturate the market. Only the strong survive, me thinks. Take a look at how the BangBus drove off a bridge, IMO, and hit a midstream boulder...now sinking slowly. MJdavis (another forum poster) seems to have his heart & wallet set on starting to shoot porn as well.
Unless I were well financed TO START, I wouldn't bother. In my industry, that's like buying a locomotive & not having any tracks to run it on.
