BTW, it is my belief that the same would happen with drugs. Remove the crime (legalize) and you remove most of the problem. To actually answer the question: Very little (and only the real underground stuff). |

JKP, on the other hand, should raise eyebrows just looking through information that's publically available. When you look at how they're capitalized, structured, and shelled you've gotta wonder why it's set up like it is and why the parties involved are involved. It's unusual business practice until proven otherwise, but it looks like how you'd set up a stage of your operation if you've gotta clean some dollar bills. |

| monkey power Member Tim? 868 Posts 1/03 | what do we appreciate? ....counting by twos! Ra! Ra! Bush is the devil! The devil loves porn! Bush is the father of porn! All hail Bush! Anyway, now that the ceremonial chanting of slogans is out of the way, what's up with organized crime "moving on?" Why would they do that? (I recently started asking the local strippers, as a joke, "Have you seen any mobsters coming in here and leaving with a suitcase of cash?" Then I was told to look around at the male employees/bartenders/managers/bouncers, and I realized that a larger percentage of them were Italian than I had expected to see..... so I chose to stop that particular line of BS.) The point being why would criminals just up and leave an industry that had been so good to them? (This is another question I should probably stop asking.) |
